You have no idea love. I was offered the role of saas in that drama Saas kabhi bahoo bhe thi. But I had some real family snooping and politics to take care of, or else I would have. Hardcore stuff.

My SIL gets on my nerves sometimes and you know what she is from Pakistan and sometimes it is easy to pigeon hole someone into a category to sooth our hurt egos, I am guilty of it :o
Like you I used to justify speaking my mind ,it was ok for me to do that because atleast everything I am is out there but we have to give credit to girls who keep quiet and respect their elders as they don't need to prove they have power by stating their opinion every five minutes..
My SIL has some beautiful qualities due to Pakistani Family culture which I don't have and there are many a time when I think she is in the wrong when actually it is usually something I may have said or not said to cause her to react..
Our religion tells us that before we look for faults in others we should understand what we have done to them that they react or act like they do
inshALLAH things will be fine but I think you're a little jealous of your SIL's and the relationship they have with your MIL..
Unfortunately, For your MIL, you will be less of a DIL than the other 2 because they are blood.. laikan time will tell who is a better DIL so just do what is best for you and your husbands happiness and I think your husbands happiness includes for you to respect his family and sabr karo
PS.. Jaanwar tells it as it is, much respect .. sometimes it is hard to hear something that might be very close to the truth but it is what is needed to make you a better human being.. My humble opinion

i know what ur sayin and believe u me i have looked at it from their point of views and so on and kept quiet but its still the same.
im going to just be straight with um next time. iv reached the end of my tether with um. everything has a limit.
