Here are signs of weak faith contributed by AbuBanan ....
Committing sins n not feeling any guilty.
Having a hard heart n no desire to read the quran.
Feeling too lazy to do gud deeds , e.g being late fr salat
-** Having mood swings , for instance being upset about petty things and bothered n irritated most of the time.
**
- Not feeling anything when hearing verses from quraan, for ex when Allah warns us of punishments n his promise of glad tidings.
Finding difficulty in remembering Allah n making dhikr.
Not feeling bad when things r done against the shariah
-** Becomming engrossed n obessive about ourselves.
**
- Liking to argue just for the sake of arguing without any proofs.
Not feeling da responsibilty to do smethng to promote islam.
Not feeling concerned about da situation of muslims.
Making fun of ppl who do simple gud deeds, like cleaning da mosque.
Ordering others to do good deeds when not practising them ourselves.
-** Being mean n miserable, i.e not wanting to part wd wealth.**
Desiring status n wealth.
Do we find any of these or all of these weaknesses in us ? Is our faith getting weak . If yes how to increase our faith then????
Red sentences may be sign of psychologic disorders
Blue does not make sense. No wanting to part wd wealth and being mean/miserable are two different things.
Green has nothing to do with Iman/faith. If status and wealth is desired and obtained properly then nothing wrong with that. Not everyone in Islam was born with status or was rich and wealthy by birth!

you're righ, Having a desire for worldly status, wealth and luxeries is a sign of strong believer......strong believer in dunya ofcourse.
I think the correct word is miser instead of miserable.
Well, da 1st one highltd in red ...let us c hw it is related 2 faith. Suppose in ur edu even though u have passed in distinction bt ur frnd gets scholarship fr all her round performance ..wont u b upset or feel bad abt tht ...u r nt satisfied wd wht Allah has gvn u ..is it nt b'coz of lack of faith.. Thr is a hadith which says *U r not a true muslim unless n untill u like for ur brother wht u like fr urselves . *
Second sntnce in red .......ex one gttng engrossed abt her beauty ...if my eyes were brown ......if i had american looks ......if i had golden hair bla bla.....is it nt tht u r nt satisfied wd wht Allah has gvn u ...thus again it leads us to da roads tht one is lacking faith in Allah.
Da one in blue.... i do agree it shld have been miser.
Da one in green .....one running aftr status n wealth means he/she is running aftr duniya ..again it is b'coz lack of faith...isn't it???
Yeah, exactly. You get depressed once you start getting away from God...
I disagree totally with your reply not everything can be looked from religious eyes, why human get depressed:
1) A depressive disorder is a syndrome (group of symptoms) that reflects a sad and/or irritable mood exceeding normal sadness or grief. More specifically, the sadness of depression is characterized by a greater intensity and duration and by more severe symptoms and functional disabilities than is normal.
2) Depressive signs and symptoms are characterized not only by negative thoughts, moods, and behaviors but also by specific changes in bodily functions (for example, crying spells, body aches, low energy or libido, as well as problems with eating, weight, or sleeping).
3) Certain people with depressive disorder, especially bipolar depression (manic depression), seem to have an inherited vulnerability to this condition.

Appreciate your sincerity and don't take me wrong here.
Red and green sentences as they are written are not un-islamic per se.
Your examples do not fit in to these sentences. There is no where it is mentioned in red or green sentences one is **jealous **of someone as in your examples.
Everyone knows jealousy is not good. (But being envious is not. One can be thankful and envious at the same time)

Thirdly , hope u r nt a member of taliban . Fourtly a strong believer never runs aftr wealth ....ex : prophet companion Abu Bakr siddiq.( he ws da richest person of arabia but spended it all in path of his creator.

OK. Like I mentioned the examples were not fitting to the sentences.
Just because someone said something or wrote "religious" statements on internet does not mean we post them without scrutiny and putting thoughts on it ...and expect others to agree. (I hope I do the same in future)

i have not an iota of doubt that you understand English. but the majority of the muslims dont understand Arabic. so where does that land them?
