Signs of weak faith !!

Re: Signs of weak faith !!

^ What that means if someone knows arabic or hear the translation and still not heeding on it.

This is religion forum and here we talk about things from a religious perspective.
Thanks for your lecture on depression.

I dont understand why u r so stubborn to thz when it's all clear .......... anyways let me clear it tht brthr Abu Bannan is a wel knwn fr his contributions to Islam. I donno why u find fault in thz but i personally take thm as signs of weak faith .....brthr let me clear it tht in thz forum one is free to express his/her thoughts abt islam....n here no one insisting any one to accpt it ...u r free to deny!!

Let me clear tht majority of muslims know arabic (arabs) natives of few countries like india, pak , bangladesh ...etc don't no arabic. My previous post was very clear tht theyr many ppl to teach or translate fr those who dont understnd Arabic. Evn im born indian n have learned arabic at understnd Quran Academy in india only.

^I respectfully disagree with you.

If anyone is free to express their views so do I. If any one tries to make my belief or religion looks bad just because they feel like or not using any reasonable thoughts then I have right to express my disagreement and disapproval.

Why do something to make my beliefs look bad on open forum?? You could not even come up with proper examples and explainations.

Brthr Abu Bannan may be a great scholar but it seems the statement did need clarification and some were just simply ill-stated.

Besides, people argue on even Ayah of Quran and hadiths and you worry about Brthr Bannan statements??

Either you or he seems to have not read certain diseases of mind which could make people act the way it was mentioned above or not thought about them before making these statements .

Next time post something and say: People these are the ultimate truth and you must agree with what I post. If you don't then you are non-believer or have weak faith.......:)

Peace.

If im nt wrong they w'l b 73 sects among muslims near to doomsday. U n me r not scholars to make smeone accpt wht we say n if they wont declare thm a non believer or one having weak faith...No , unless an until 1 thng is common among all muslims tht *we bare witness tht there is non worthy of worship except Allah n Mohammed (pbuh) is his mssngr. Remaining u can say Al aamaalu binneyaat . *

Secondly we dont have tht ability to read thousands of Hadiths to knw abt one topic i.e signs of weak faith ...its very difficult fr us to do thz b'coz of da age of wordly edu. so we give refernce of our scholars who say evry thng is light of Quraan n sahi hadith. So plz dont judge any scholar, since evry scholar is right in his own place. One is free to accpt it or deny it .

One more thng Dr Zkir Naik says is if u have any doubt regarding any thng....1st refer Quran.... if u wont find it there..... refer sahi hadith...evn if u dnt get ur answer ask a scholar ...evn thn if u r not satisfied listen to wht ur heart says ....so one is free to do so....since Allah is watching u n ur intentions.

hpe u r undrstndng my point :)

Allah knws best

^ I understand but don't agree with putting all your belief on 'Aalims'.

*Bigger responsibility is on an individual to learn and seek knowledge, use judgment and then act. *

Anyway, good luck. :)

Re: Signs of weak faith !!

Peace All

The points in red above are somewhat to do with psychological disorders, but it can be argued that psychological disorders develop as a result of misplaced emphasis in worldly matters and a strangulation of ones own soul by starving the spirit from its sustenance.

For example ... being PRONE to a moody down state is a symptom of a number of psychological and even biological causes, but to allow those causes to proliferate and actually MAKE you exhibit excesses in these swings and irritation means that the person has not got either the patience to wear out the trauma or some other form of will power is too weak to stand firm without letting others know your inward issues. The word is decorum - to be presentable even in times of affliction. This state can come about by strengthening the will power which can be done by true trust in God. So here is the religion bent on this matter.

Self obsession is also a psychological deception of how our trust in the world makes us indulge in it but then to do this to excessive levels that without self obsessing one would become very lonely, afraid, unwanted, ugly and so on. This habit is a way of psychologically overcoming trauma as in the first case above, but the best way is not to become a shopholic that is called deferral ... where one issue is created as a result of another issue being eliminated. Rather than choosing to indulge in the world we should seek to indulge in God and in Islam's case His Messenger's life (SAW) also ... this way the new issues for old will not develop ... this is the second stance from religion on this psychological matter.

Thnx :)

Re: Signs of weak faith !!

In one of the Islamic sittings, we were discussing Imaan.

One of my scholar-turned friends from school in NY said…

Understand this… Similitude of body containing Imaan is like of a Jar with a crack in the bottom and filled with the liquid of Imaan. Imaan keeps dripping out of it unless we struggle to keep it filled and keep pouring imaan into that jar. It’s a constant struggle till our last breath to keep our imaan intact.

That analogy made me think that must be the reason why Khaatima Bil khair is much more important than how a person lived his life in this world. Khaatima Bil Khair guarantees an imaan ful jar at the end of the journey hence, Ulaaikaa humul Muflehoon.

This whole thread reminded me of two famous ahaadeeth yet again, a near translation/interpretation of which are:

Prophet:saw2: said: Hearts get rusted too, just like your swords get rusted.

Sahaaaba-e-Kiraam (RA) said: Oh Apostle of Allah :saw2:, when our swords get rusted, we rub them and shine them back. Is there a similar remedy for hearts as well?

Prophet:saw2: replied: Indeed. Reading of Quran and Rememberance of death in abundance.

The second one that I can recall:

Thaubaan :razi: reported that Prophet:saw2: said: A time will come when nations of the world will invite each others against you like people invite one another on food.

Sahaaba-e-Kiraam (RA) asked: O Allah’s messenger! is it because we will be smaller in number at that time?

Prophet:saw2: replied: On the contrary, you will be large in number but you will be like the scum of the sea and Allah (in the punishment of your own deeds) shall cast a disease in your heart against your enemies, called Wah’n

Sahaaba-e-Kiraam (RA) asked: What is Wah’n O Allah’s messenger?

Prophet:saw2: replied: Hubb-ud-Duniya wa karaahiyatil Maut (Love of this world and hatred (and fear) of death … )
