Messiah is Hz Isa (AS) in His qualities, not in person.
Messiah which is to come in Muslim ummah will be the like of Hz Isa(As). Also, Mahdi and Messiah are one and same person.

Well then explain why most of the Hadith don't say Masih will come ... But Isa ibn Maryam (AS) will come ...

Since Qur'an has many ayaat which is the clear indication of Hz Isa (as)'s death, we find in ahadith the mention of the name of Isa ibn Maryam(as) who will come. There is a lot of wisdom behind this. I will mention a few from the top of my head.

It's common practice in Arab and even in ahadith and in Urdu or any other language.. in which if a person has the same characteristics as the one who was passed on before, the name is given to that person.

Reason why it was said Ibn e Maryam would come is because Muhammad PBUH is called the like of Musa A.S. Muhammadi Shariya is called the like of Musvi Shariya. Now, at the end of Musvi shariya, there was Hazrat Isa, the Messiah A.S. Since the comparison is between Muhammadi Shariya and Musvi Shariya, it was necessary for Muhammadi Shariya to have a Messiah, like the Messiah sent to Musvi shariya.

You needed explanation.. i have given you the explanation. Since Quran declares all prophets to be dead.. we have to think about who is mentioned in ahadith with the title of Masih.

Getting back to the topic.. there is a hadith which says that there is no Mahdi but Isa A. S.

Book ‘The Promised Deliverer (Kitab Al-Mahdi)’ of Sunan Abu-Dawud. Hadith No. 4272.

Narrated AbuSa’id al-Khudri: The Prophet :saw2: said: The Mahdi will be of my stock, and will have a broad forehead a prominent nose. He will fill the earth will equity and justice as it was filled with oppression and tyranny, and he will rule for seven years.

Mehdi will be fighting for the cause of ALLAH, a practical mujahid. Thus any one blindly(Mean just accepts what media feed them, ) opposing mujahideen, having grudge against mujahideen will be standing againt mehdi fighting in the name of war against terrorism.

He will be arab.

Please also mention the heavenly signs i.e occurrence of lunar and solar eclipse in the month of Ramadan in testimony of Imam Mahdi a.s’s truthfulness as described in book Dar Qutni. Thanks.

Isn’t it ironic that ‘you people’ believe that most ahadith have been fabricated (and not even caring of them being authentic) thus deserve to be thrown in to waste paper bin.

It’s ‘you people’ who base their faith in weak ahadith.

I’m not here to discuss the difference of you and me here. If I were to quote your Ullamas.. they believe there are verses in Quran which cancel out some verses of Quran. Now, please dont let me do that. Baat nikli to door talak jaae gi.

This is exactly what I expected from you. I dont care how many muhadith call it a zaeef hadith or how many muhadith call it whatever. I’m not their follower. You should not be either. Fact of the matter is that this hadith is written in the book.. and it HAS happened!. Now, you call it zaeef, fabricated.. or any thing else. That’s irrelevant now. When a certain thing has occurred, then you have NO option and no choice but to believe it as it is!

What I found rather amazing from your side is that you jumped in and started calling it fabricated :). OK. Call it whatever. It’s mentioned as a hadith. When this actually happened, then all the muhadith who said its fabricated stand wrong in calling it fabricated. Period.

hmm.. I’m surprised to know you dont know about it at all but Ibn Sadique is here telling the world its a fabricated hadith.. :confused:.

Mahdi/Messiah A.S is told to come at the end of times. Hadith mentioning solar and lunar eclipse to occur for the recognition of the Mahdi.

Now, read this Quranic verse as a sign of the day or resurrection:

In bible, theres a similar sign of day of resurrection:

Immediately after the tribulation of those days, shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall NOT give her light. - Matthew 24:29

Solar and lunar eclipse has occurred. Messiah/Mahdi was here at the time of eclipse. Day of judgement close enough ?
