What are some signs to look for to know the girl is in it for the money?
I always take a look at their facebook - tells a lot about someone’s character and values. Stay away from the ladies who take a lot of pics of themselves cuz they are vain. And vanity needs Lancome, Gucci, Coach, Prada to feed it.

Ehmmm not totally true..
I make many pix of myself... and i love brands like gucci, D&G, Jimmy Choo, Guess, Marc ecko and so on but that doesnt mean that i am a gold digger nor a vain ;)
Checking out the fb pages won't work.. I think you can see it in the eyes of ppl and their behaviour... you have to see them in person to get an clear view
"Any woman whose primary interest in a relationship is material benefits. A woman who cares more about a man's bank account than she does about the man." thats a gold digger
and thats not applicable to me ;)....
Material stuff like brand watches etc... love them and it aint bad to love them ...and if one wants to buy it he or she should...
even if one has his/her room filled with own pics and cabins filled with brands... it doesnt means that the person is a golddigger :)
just the thought of marrying a goldigger should make ur wallet shrink. Then theres the same classic generic line that they ALL come out with to mask their gold diggerish ways
"youre not emotionally invested in this relationship. Just financially"
at which point a dude has no choice but to say
"bich I am emotionally invested in this relationship. Everytime i check my bank balance after taking you out i start crying"
A good look at the mirror is the first step towards finding out whether the woman, one is dating or getting hitched to, is in it for the material benefits or not.

No. I take lots of pix of myself but I don't own a single Coach thing (unless you count that teeny tiny bottle I got from sephora after redeeming one of their scent certificates). and free lancome mascara.
Women who like or own high-end brands are gold-diggers?
You don’t know ANY women who are well-paid professionals and can easily afford to buy designer items for themselves? And in fact, these women pay for their designer items out of their own paycheck. Not a single one of your friends or family members fall into this category?
Or is it that all the women you know who make good money are tomboys not into fashion stuff?
During dating, especially in sexually permissive societies, its very easy to tell if the girl is really into the guy or just in for the money, benefits, security, is a gold-digger etc.
There are several ways to tell. They would require a separate thread.

Oh I know plenty of brand - name diggers. And also tomboys. But it begs the question of how do you define materialism and is that a turn off for guys and signal that she might be a gold digger?
