Sporting designer labels is not necessarily a concrete sign that a girl is a gold-digger. I can understand the connection in the sense that such a girl might want to marry a guy who can afford to meet her designer demands and maintain a certain image in society. However there are girls that work hard to afford brand name products, but want a relationship with depth/substance among other things and won't compromise on that. And then there are also girls who can't afford to buy brand name products.....but finding a guy who can provide that lifestyle is not only their main criteria but is also a deal-breaker for them. That said, the dearth or absence of designer products is not a clear indication that she isn't materialistic or superficial. People can be ruled by what they don't have as they can by what they do have. Interactions can provide clues/signs as to whether or not she's a gold digger.....does the conversation mainly center around money, status symbols, and material things....does she treat people differently based on socioeconomic class, etc.

I am ashamed to say I am a bit of a gold digger and influence and power really attracts me. I fancy loads of men who are in top notch posts and jobs itsthe power that really entices me and so does their income

Even if she does earn the money for those designer items herself, would she be okay with giving up on having the latest thing out there, after having kids. Cause kids are pretty expensive.

A golddigger is someone who marries or isnin any relationship with a man, woman or it for the sake of financial joy it brings and often repays with a bow chicka wow wowish favor!! Hey nothing in life is free!!!

There are several signs exhibited by a gold digger [1]:

  • well endowed like Jennifer Lopez
  • multiple kids, all of which you will have to somehow get into show business (or whichever industry you happen to be successful in)
  • you will have to chauffeur her kids and their friends around in your Benz, or other luxury vehicle of your choice
  • her previous lovers, and potential "baby daddies", will be wealthy and powerful
  • she will be living an affluent lifestyle from the alimony payments from her "baby daddies"

If your potential spouse exhibits several of the signs outlined above, then I have some bad news: she is probably not Muslim, and though she may be smoking hot, your mommy won't let you marry her. And since you're likely not in danger of suddenly growing a pair and going against your mommy's wishes, you don't have to worry about it.

Accidentally drop a few shiny notes on the floor while you're around her. If she grabs one before it hits the ground, now you know.

Bring up the topic "What would you do if you won yourself a million bucks?". Then go on to say you would give most of it away to charity, if she thinks you're dumb to do that, now you know.

Tell her how there's gold buried in your back yard. If she shows up minutes later with a shovel, now you know better.

or just post the link to what dream merchant went through. a few tolas of gold ere not enough apparently , so yeah thats a heavy hitter gold digger.
It's not just getting the gold, it's getting enough of it for the "real" gold diggers. :p

Just because an individual likes designer items that doesn't mean they are gold diggers, are vain and have to be stayed away from. That just sounds absolutely absurd and envious!

There are women out there who earn their own living, earn well and can afford such items. There are also women out there who have husbands who can afford to give designer items to their wives/ daughters etc. Just be happy for them.
