I also think assurance is important and for this my wife may have to do a video/pics of them and ask them questions about their lives and family, etc then she can put it together as a video/article exclusive for Gupshup- demonstrating contact. If they don’t have a bank account then she can photocopy the main persons (mother) National Identity Card and post it to people here.

With all due respect to the sincere effort, and you and hareem volunteering for this noble cause, I am not sure if the family after going trough such tragedy, is be ready for such interviews and identification process. Best way is for us to make Hareem our trustee and hand her the finds and she makes sure that funds reach the family. If she can, she can just hand the money over to the family.
