Showing respect online

:salam:

Many a times there are misunderstandings & people take things in a different way.

I think online would only represent my state of mind at that particular moment not my entire personality or maybe I’m wrong.

Re: Showing respect online

good point shabnam, but isnt that true in real life as well, we only have aspects of our pesonality visible at a given time based on circumstances and our state of mind?

Re: Showing respect online

Quite True.
But I think , online we can control a bit ,For instance , when you do not agree with something or are angry you can not post it even if you want to & be silent & let it go .This can be a bit tough in real life like not showing anger if you are angry. Its usually apparent on the face.

Re: Showing respect online

People who have met me say i am exactly the same in real life as on here. I don't know what to make of that =(

But I definitely think I am more outspoken and well spoken here than in real life (when I actually think for a few minutes before I post)..

Re: Showing respect online

we have to get cranky somewhere or we'll burst. net is alright, as pacifist as we can be with verbal insults. and there is always that comfort of walking away.

its a bell pepper, hareem api.

Re: Showing respect online

I have to admit Nikky, that this character Ecoshan is quite the beejamalo. He goes off free saying this and that, making another stop dead in their tracks all of a sudden doing a full fledge self analyses. For a change lets analyse him instead.

Eco, appears to be the angelic little boy, enjoying a ride on his tricycle in shorts, but really he actually is one, the little boy part as par say, ofcourse not the angelic one :halo:
There… now he’s had it. I’ve got more where that come from, but then he’ll ignite into that dhamaka, which he thinks himself as, but he isn’t aware that rather he’s a patakha, always going ‘paut paut’ instead … bus ya aur :faizy:

Coming back to ur question Nikky… I think its a natural nature engraved in souls of desis. If u think ppl are rude while interacting on GS, they’re even worse on msn … which I think is better to know, because u can truly asses thier overall personality from those colours that they display in their dancing ritual. :hmmm:

Re: Showing respect online

The difference which you feel is only because you cannot know a person for real ONLINE. The person may act naturally but you will percieve his personality according to your own understanding. So, that's why some people think that people act fake online. Obviously I am not talking about everyone, some people maybe faking throughout...reasons unknown perhaps some kind of complex or trying to be what they are not or trying to do what they cannot.

i hope blah blah doesn't come under disrespecting GS.

Because its not directly to their face, people get a bit free.

I think people feel they can say how they feel more easier on the net were in real life people be a little fake, but chat about them behind people's backs, here people have got the guts to just say it!
and when people wind u up, u would argue with them in day to day life so y not on here.

And respect should be both ways.:)

gs wont have that much traffic then!!

then the moderators shall be think of ways:konfused: :what:for people to argue:hehe:
