I want to try chia seeds.

Banana raspberry smoothie..
1/2 banana
1/2 cup raspberry
1 Tbsp almond butter
1 tbs flax seed
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 cup spinach/kale
Add some ice and mix it together.

Re: Show me your smoothie!!!

My smoothie has 3 oranges, 1/2 a cup mint, 1 cup spinach and at times 1 cup parsley.

Re: Show me your smoothie!!!

I forgot to take a pic but it was blackberries, blue berries, spinach, small carrot and celery and water.

I love flax seeds so I eat that with a spoon instead of mixing it .

Re: Show me your smoothie!!!

Whats the benefit of flax seeds ?

Re: Show me your smoothie!!!

I will take a picture next time.

My favorite smoothie is

  • Banana
  • Strawberries

or

  • Banana
  • Mango

or

Banana
Blueberries

and

  • A little bit of vanilla yoghurt
  • A little bit of 3,5 % fat milk.

When I make for hubby, I add protein powder to it.

When I just make for myself and I want to spoil myself I change the yoghurt with a scoop of ice cream.

I hope you didn’t want this to be super healthy :halo:

Re: Show me your smoothie!!!

my smoothies look disgusting. :\ but they are good for you and taste good. my kid makes yummy noises with her mouth 2 inches from the spoon in an effort to stop me from making her taste, so it must be good.

todays had cantaloupe, a slice of lemon (peel n all), a spoon of miso paste, a small beet, arugula, kale, coconut water. tasted pretty good. and the best part of beet.. comes later. :hypo:

Re: Show me your smoothie!!!

Whenever I put beets and kale together, I get a scratchy throat. I can eat them but juicing or making them into a smoothie never ends well. Does the lemon with peel make it too acidy?

Re: Show me your smoothie!!!

i find lemon pretty strong (especially if you put the peel in too, the peel is intense), so i add only a quarter of one per batch. never had throat scratch issues with anything so far. the only truly bad experience with smoothies so far has been the one time i added too much turmeric which made me feel pretty sick.

I'm gonna try adding the lemon but I'll probably use half of what you use abd I have never dared to add turmeric to my smoothies but I can start off with a pinch and go on up. My brother literally adds lehsan adrak and haldi in his smoothies and some lal mirch. It's like a unbhuna salan.

Re: Show me your smoothie!!!

I don't experiment much with my smoothies.

Re: Show me your smoothie!!!
