There are a few that I quite like:

  • 1 small apple, half of a banana, 125ml of unsweetened almond milk and a couple of almonds.

  • Handful of spinach, half of a carrot, about 4-6 strawberries, a few blueberries, and 125ml of orange or grapefruit juice (squeezed from the fruit).

  • Juice of 1 orange, mango, 125ml fat free Greek yoghurt and a dash of honey.

  • Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, juice of 1 blood orange, and about 250ml of ice chips.

^I quite like them as they're a bit more tart than regular oranges. Regular oranges or tangerines (although you have to squeeze about 6-7 of them :D) work nicely too.

glass soya milk
ice cubes
and few leafs of mint...

my healthy breakfast smoothie:

1 banana
half apple
3-4 frozen strawberries
1 kiwi
1 peeled orange
you can basically use any soft fruit you have at home...
2-3 tablespoon of oats
1 tablespoon of flax seeds
1 glass of any juice or u can also use tap water
dried prune (optional)
few leafs of mints (optional)

I just tried a new combination this morning:

3 small apricots, half of a carrot, 125ml plain nonfat yoghurt and 125ml fresh squeezed orange juice. It sounds odd but it was quite good. :yummy:

I make some protein shake by using strawberries, yogurt/milk and tofu. Tofu is rich in protein it is also my post workout drink it is very refreshing and delicious. I feel so relieve after doing some workouts by drinking it. I also love making strawberry banana smoothies for my kids.

i tried a different fruit yesterday

red plums (skin removed) - x 4/5
1 glass of crushed ice
1 glass of orange juice/or mango juice
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
2 tablespoons of greek yohurt

it gives an amazing reddish pink color and taste yummy :)

today was smoothie day and it's been a while since I had one.

whey protein powder
flax seeds
almond milk

yummy!
