Should we kiss our country goodbye :(

BBC News - Bomb blasts rock market in Pakistani city of Lahore

This is getting way out of hand, and no one seems to be able to do anything about it

Re: Should we kiss our country goodbye :(

Yeh I saw this in the news on telly right now. In moon market, I used to love that market as a kid. Visit it often, it is very sad :( I hate the people that are doing this.

Re: Should we kiss our country goodbye :(

When a baby cry , you hold him harder . Our county , our baby is crying , its sick . This is no time to say goodbye , rather hold and hug it tighter .

Please change the title . The only thing that can help us in this time of crisis is optimism . Existence of Pakistan is a FACT and will remain like that . InshaAllah .

Re: Should we kiss our country goodbye :(

When this whole scenario was being staged.. many of you were cheering the director. :)

:k:

Dushman laakh koshish kar lein,
unka maqsad kabhi poora nahin ho paye ga.

BUt there is nothing we can do to stop this but pray to Allah Swt

khakam badahan.

Re: Should we kiss our country goodbye :(

its time to look at ourselves...i mean ALL the muslims ALL over the world...to find a solution to this kinda senseless mayhem N carnage...we ALL need to wake up!

Re: Should we kiss our country goodbye :(

I suggest you stick the pessimism somewhere else. Pakistan is fine. We will deal with and we will succeed.

Re: Should we kiss our country goodbye :(

I think those who are pessimistic should get a moraal boost by watching Zahid Hamids videos
Only thing we need to kiss goodbye are the corrupt leaders.

And Islamic extremists...but wait I forgot, you love those people who want to impose Shariah by force.

i dont want 2 b pessimitic, i luv my country and it kills me to see this happen
BUt there seems to be no way out of this, an enemy within is impossible to fight, we still have no idea who is really behind it all, India.. america....
We r becuming another iraq, afghanistan, and as much as i wud like to think its going to b ok, im trying 2 b realistic,

Re: Should we kiss our country goodbye :frowning:

I am watching news and its soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo painful to see how these innocent ppl are getting killed.

I dont know and cant understand who is doing this. Its the same way NWFP ppl were getting killed daily by US and our own army. Now the fire has spreaded thru out the country.

Bera gharaq ho humaray leaders ka and bera gharaq US ka. :grumpy:

Yeah you are right :)
Like i love you so much i love them also
;)

And you know very well how much I love YOU

that is EXACTLY why they are doing it in the first place, to break up the country and for us to kiss it goodbye.

I know what you are trying to say, but giving up is not an option, not for pakistanis living there. for us, away from home, ya it might be an option because we are not caught in the middle of it but for people back home, its a reality that they have to live with and fight in order to survive. and for their sake, we have to stand behind them through prayers, moral support and positive reinforcement, this is war and giving up is like losing everything for them.

Well Said!!

Well said indeed bro.

Re: Should we kiss our country goodbye :frowning:

Yeah you can kiss your country goodbye, you already did by living in your current adopted country, whichever it may be. But don’t tell this to those living in Pakistan , that is their only country.

also well said Sheeda ji

Re: Should we kiss our country goodbye :(

For all of you folx out there, fringing to and fro between the realms of optimism or pessimism... you all know for a fact that.... This situation demands more than any individual effort at all. People like me who are outside the country can say whatever they can...but then if u r inside this mess that we call as our homeland... the disaster begins right from the very first instance u open ur eyes in the morning, standing in long queues of utility stores, walking like a dead person and holding one hand on ur heart and the other on ur belongings... the new revelations every day that how a failure our Gov. is, how ridiculous our system has become, all the way to when u try to have a calm and collected sleep, which doesn't exist... and then in all this, u fight for not only ur survival but your families' as well... Its very very easy to throw in a punch line or two, but then otherwise, its none of yours to handle. And unfortunately, nor mine as well.
So the bottom line...
As unity is far fetched among us Pakistanis for some very ambiguous reasons...
Establish urself ASAP.
