Should the mother in law be asking

Re: Should the mother in law be asking

desigirl...sadly my story is the same...but i would say bite ur tongue & just wear it- trust me things like this can get blown out of proportion & the in laws start getting negative about the girl... i dont even no wot im wearing on my valima day- they havent told me the colour or nething, i dont even think they are gona let me try it on to see it fits b4 the day...but im not fussed cos inshallah the wedding day will be exactly how i want...

and remember people always compare which day the girl luks better- so its their own behsti- its really sad y we have to suffer but ur not alone so hang in there! and dont get upset, just think about ur wedding day

as for the cake situation, again its sad that some people forget wots important- making sure the dulha dulhan are happy instead they focus on the showy side of things sigh but she is paying for half of the stuff so i think ur quite lucky xx

Does she want you to wear THAT sari in particular? Is it an heirloom?

hehe i forget who but a long time back someone here posted about how she (or someone she knew, or maybe it was a suggestion) was ironing her valima lengha and burnt it by “mistake”…
