Pakistani troops now have a lot more experience in fighting the Jihadis. May be they can help stop the rocket bazi and the resulting Israeli attacks.
Pak troops can certainly bring peace to the helpless people of Gaza. One can negotiate opening up borders and restart the badly needed Gaza-Israeli trade relations.
UN is in favor of monitors. US favors this approach as well. Surely PLO will be OK with this too.

President George W. Bush and U.N. chief Ban Ki-moon both spoke in favor of an internationally monitored truce.
But Hamas, in its first reaction to the proposal on Saturday, reacted coolly to the idea of international monitors.

Re: Should Pakistani troops be posted in Gaza to monitor (and stop) rocket firings?
Yes, but only if they're allowed to push back Israeli aggression as well and put a deterrence to Israeli Rocket baazi.
I doubt Israel would be too excited about having Pakistani soldiers stationed there, then again you never know. What if Pakistani soldiers become victims of "friendly fire", who's going to hold the responsible party to account?
Re: Should Pakistani troops be posted in Gaza to monitor (and stop) rocket firings?
I have heard some dumb whoppers in my time, but this should top the list. Right in the eve of a full scale war with India, Mr. Burqa wants us to send our troops to secure Israel! p.s. the track record of Pakistani troops is only good when it comes to fighting the Indians.
We do have "experience" fighting jihadis but do we have "success" to show for it?
Number of attacks on Afghanistan's East have dropped significantly. Haven't they?
Sure the Islamists are killing their own neighbors in Pakistan now, but they don't have juice to raid Afghanistan the way they used to, only few years ago.
Re: Should Pakistani troops be posted in Gaza to monitor (and stop) rocket firings?
^ Oh no, I'm very concerned about the Israelis, I dont want our forces, which have a poor track record against your jehadi ninjas (as stated by the West) to go and disapoint the great people of Israel, oh bitter one.

^ Oh I didnt know you were such a big fan of the Jihadi General Zia! p.s. just cuz the Pak Army did something doesnt mean it goes down in history as something glorious.

Looks like you are turning this thread to personal bickering. First you said Israelis will be disappointed, now you change the subject and start talking about glory shlory.
Man you will find every little excuse to dis Pak and Pak army wouldn't you?
Clutching on straws burqa? Whats so personal about putting in some facts? You seem to be pretty proud of the 1970 operation you mentioned, wasn’t it ordered by the jehadi kingpin General Zia?
We (not you btw) are proud of the way the Pak Army fought India many times. Being a patriot, which by the way you’re not, doesnt mean you be blind and over glorify things. Its not like Israel is dying to ask the Pakistani army for help
So go ask Israel to stop killing Gazans then, why bother the good ol Pakistani army? Do you want the Pakistani army to go fight the Israeli Army?
lol Pak Army’s new interests are to go and fight in a land far far away, thank you for redefining their role. Can we also gift wrap our N program and give that away to them as well, I am sure you will be more than happy with that too.
Firstly, why dont you post. Secondly, are you talking about the fat Generals who became millionaires overnight both in the 80s and recently by making deals with these boogiemen?
