I think Pakistani players should focus more on County Cricket of England than on IPL kind of stuff... County Cricket will polish them and rather mature player would emerge where as IPL is just a show.. few non-cricketing shots after half a dozen match can make you celebrity here but we need cricketers and not celebrities..
They won't participate anyway as they will be playing in west Indies. The way IPL treated them in the last two years they shouldn't.
Spot on ..... why to have the desire to go somewhere u r not welcome after all ..... Play Cricket for ur country and if u get the Odd county stint so be it but for ur own sake stay away from this Lottery
ipl will only become stronger and stronger as indian economy is growing on a massive way-pakistanis should focus on to its own league rather than dreaming abot ipl

No one is dreaming about IPL, just read the posts above. Really don't care about IPL. Never watched it, don't think ever will.
I'd love to see Pakistani players (ones who don't pass racist comments on Hindus like Tanvir) in the IPL. Unfortunately I don't see it happening in the near future.
Anyways. these are all pipe dreams as of now…In order to reject IPL, Pakistani players need to be invited first. Don’t see that happening in the near future given the strained relationships between the two governments.
Hmmm…should I become the president of the United States
ralph nader wanted you as a running mate to give him an edge over Bobby Gindal…
BTW - pakistani players are former T20 champions and their chances to be considered for IPL are as real as a Red wings player being taken by another rival team. Its only political that they are not in IPL. So get over the “we are too good” attitude.
no body can refuse good players , in india pakistan players are very popular and in fact people want to see them play,it will bring a better contest brings the excitement and entertainment , but neither i.p.l. nor india and pak govt are responsible for present situation , the greatest problem is security , if any thing untoward takes place and a player is hurt what will happen is anybody’s guess. only time can heal the past wounds of bombay
Should PCB work actively to enable pakistani players to participate in next season of IPL? Some say, this is a great opportunitiy for players to showcase their talent, especially for the young ones. Also, its a great opportunity to make money. Rumors are also that IPL has not invited PCB/pakistani players to participate in IPL
What are your thoughts?
Pak team has performed well rcently and has earned the rspect of all.Pls do not waste that by taking part in I.P.L which is mean for money laundering and prostitution.Very soon the inner dramas will unfold.
Pls see my first post - I had mentioned that Pakistani players are good at T20 and should be considered for IPL on merit.
However, the question of rejecting IPL by Pakistani players would only arise if they are asked to participate, which given the current political climate does not seem to be happening any time soon. Now what in my statement made you read “we are too good” ?

Belittle ? NO !!
Pointing out the fact that "you have not been included by the organizers and any talk of rejecting the invite/choosing not to go is premature" - YES !!!
If you cared to read my first post you would realize that I definitely don't question the Pakistani players qualification for being included.
