Should Pakistani musicians be banned in India?

Once again a singer is basically a person that can sing infront of a crowd and get a good cheer.. be it classically trained or not trained at all. A singer isn't defined by training.. the band Azal's lead singer is beyond fabulous.. and he's not trained! Abhijeet, that made it big.. was due to a reality show! Amanat Ali cud put all Abhijeet's and Sonu's to shame..

Check out his song "tujh se naraz nahin" on youtube..

tht song is really awsome .........

Re: Should Pakistani musicians be banned in India?

Sonu couldn't go beyong playback singing so what benefit did he get from his training? If you're not talented and you don't have a unique voice quality then no training can save you. Pop singers are much bigger than playback singers. They're like icons whereas playback singers are just like voice over artists.
Atif aslam is one of the most popular singers in the sub-continent. Sonu nigams and abhijeet's don't have the fan following that he has and rightly so.

kuch bhi ho Atif jaisi voice kisi ki nahi hai...i love his voice

Re: Should Pakistani musicians be banned in India?

I am a bit extremist here. I wouldn't mind even if India gave Indian Passports to these marasis.

We need to change our image of national heros from singers to scientists, from actors to doctors.

^ lol.. which doctors are u talking about? The one's that steal kidney's from patients while performing a hip surgery only to sell them? Or one's that diagnosed 230 people with diabetes when in real they had AIDS. It's all on Dawn News..

exactly!! for some very odd reason our media does not cover any of these un-sung heroes, staying foused on the negative elements more. celebrity status is always generated/given by the media, the calculated hype behind it making ordinary people celebrities, wish they could do the same for these ppl who truly deserve the recognition. on example at hand

Situated in Korangi the Indus Hospital is a state of the art tertiary care center accessible to the public free of charge. A team of local and expatriate professionals provide specialized medical care by volunteering their expertise and time. General filter clinics are conducted daily, where walk-in patients are assessed free of charge. The patient is then referred according to need to the concerned specialist clinic. Patients requiring urgent treatment are directly transferred to the Emergency Room. This was the brainchild of Dr. Abdul Bari Khan, who returned from the US and wanted to serve his community. **

Re: Should Pakistani musicians be banned in India?

^ thanks wondergurl for sharing this. so glad to know we have such great people in our country! Mashallah!

:k:

I'm not against them. I just want Paki Pop singers to be a "Proper Singer". Singing is an Art, not a game that anyone start playing.

Shafqat Amanat Ali, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Ahmad Jahanzeb & Fareha Pervez, They are a Few example of being a Proper Singer. wo alag baat hai in mei se kuch apne Talents ko sahi use nahi kar rahey.

and that Song "tujh se naraz nahin". Songs should be sang as an Art. and Amant Ali was singing in emotional way.

Listen to the Real version of "tujh se naraz nahin". Farq pata chal jayega. Asal version mein Emotions bataye jarahey hain aur Amant apni family ko miss karkey emotional hokey ga raha tha.

Atif's voice is not out-of-this-world type. But is better to hear than any others. Jal's Songs have Creative Music and Lyrics, I like them.

ur most welcome, i have been telling everyone about this because we never hear of such projects or ppl! i'm so sick of the negativity in our own media, why do they not focus on the positive things going on in Pakistan as well? On morning show/talk shows it would be great to hear from such ppl instead of the same old celebrities. BTW I first heard about it on Marina Mornings, she was doing such a great job of bringing out the best from our society, sad to see her leave.

PS sorry for going off-topic

Training ke baad eik kaam yeh karna hota hai ke aap apni training aur talent ko Sahi se use karein. Sonu aur abhijeet aisa nahi kartey.

Sonu aur Abhijeet agar Pakistani hotey to zada Hit hotey.

Atif is popular, Luckly he is. saregamapa ka master hota to unbeatable hota. Jal aur Ali Zafar Atif se zada Hit horahey hain, check out the surveys.

Only Marina Khan was Promoting NGOs and Services like this. Marina Khan MashAllah se, Really Cares about People.

LOL read properly what I said "atif aslam is one of the most popular singers" .

I know. our media is always highlighting negative stuff about pakistan. especially these talk shows on geo give you a headache. pakistan mein situation itni bhi kharaab nahi hai jitni media exgggerate karta hai.

Vajahat, don't think u're getting me. The original tujhse naraz was fantastic.. but the version Amanat sang was exceptional too.. u can't undermine the talent we have in Pakistan.. singers don't need to be classically trained to be tagged as singers. if u have the voice, u're a singer. If u hear Sonu's pop albums they all sound alike now.. but if it's playback singing then it's different.

Re: Should Pakistani musicians be banned in India?

sonu's voice is too bland. don't like it.

Those are incidents that happen even in developed countries.

Polls in USA say that doctors from south Asia are the best.

Atif was good just because of his novelty (like himesh RShmmya) but the more u hear him the hoarser he sounds..
