its not about “equal partnerships” but about opportunities. india has a lot of lost opportunities with its neighbors in improving lives of its own citizens. what is criminal is wasting these opportunities. as much as i detest modi, he did the right thing by not singling out Pakistan. and Nawaz coming with two of his important men to spend a day with the hope of getting to know Modi’s outlook, its not just ceremonial anymore, unless snubbed. which may very well happen.. but we’ll see.
