I am from Pakistan, but i don't understand how can Some Malaysians ( who are treated badly) can be INDIAN COMMUNITY, when they born and brought up in Malaysia, when they call them self Malaysians, When they are asking their rights from the Malaysian Govt. how come they can be called Indian Community... they are Malaysian who were brought to Malaysia way back in history... the sooner u learn this the better it is....
But, oh, one of ur leader Once said, that muslims does not belong to India, they came from other lands so they should go back to their lands.. i don't know which leader may Bal Thakray, but this surely tells us Indian Mentality... when it comes to the right...
Question still exist, if so-called INDIAN COMMUNITY is so unhappy why don't they come back to India a start a happier life.? Why don't Indian govt. says to them, come home and we will treat you better?
The core is, one who live in glass house should not throw stones on others. If India want to be the champion of human rights, then please provide few of them to people of Assam, Kashmir and other places where the villages of LOWER CLASS peoples are burned ( lower hindu castes).. once India overcome this thing, then it have right to point out others..
Yes it is bakwas it comes to show a mirror to India, or ask what right India have!!! but it is fair when India intefere in others affairs is that what u are saying, or ur saying that INDIANS in malaysia is in trouble thats why Indian govt is feeling the pain... so far other than a draging issue here and there ( typical indian behaviour) u r not able to justify the grounds on which India is entitled to intefere in other Countries domestic issue.
Any way have India conveyed same kind of message to UAE govt. where thousands of Indian Employees ( others were there too, but indians were in big number) where beaten and then deported.. now don't say that is not humanitarian issue...
you are confusing too much. UAE issue is a labour issue, they have a house to go back to India and India will accomodate them. Malaysia is different. They have been living there for centuries and are malay citizens. In UAE, rights as a citizen is not there in the first place. In malaysia they are citizens and should be given the right of a citizen just like other malay are given. Since the victims are of indian origin India mainly raised the concern to give it a a bit more weight it required (rightly so) to get that protest to be heard in the powers that is in Malaysia

Citizen rights in India does not discriminate between different race or religion. More over it gives preferential treatment to communities in need of help. Some rights are taken away in parts where there is insurgency. Nobody is waging a war in India because they are denied any rights. You are confusing riots and rights. Riots and citizen rights are mostly independent. The riots happen when extremist group in a society resort to killing each other when their dispute cannot be solved by peacefull means. India give all rights to its citizens. No Indian muslim will come here and say that they were denied to call for prayers, to practice sheria, to assemble and worship.
When such things are denied in Malaysia it is the right of every nation including India to question malaysian authorities.

True, and we know that, there is discrimination their as well... so if any one of them stages a demonstration, and any other country ( like INDIA though i know that india will never dare) will ask USA to keep indians happy (In case of Indians)...

There is no Indian government policy which is against the minorities. There are many that favor them.

Hey watch it! I am a proud Indian too and we all know that. But I also realize why we are poor - because the Brits treated us as a supply colony for England. Before them the Moghuls were more interested in building palaces or mosques and did very little to industrialize.
We are now undoing the damage caused by almost a 1000 years of such misrule and guess what? we are well on our way.
So we may be poor but neither 'third' world nor backwards. That is why we are exporting civilization and culture to the rest of the world increasingly - Vedic knowledge, music, natural medicine - and the people who get it it are loving it.

StirCasey, If Moghuls only built mosques. Then I consider Taj Mahal a mosque too. Since you are not so keen on keeping it, let us shift It to Pakistan! It just a mosque anyway.
