I believe that too. Only because sometimes people do have real issues due to which they can't approach you the way you expected or wanted. Not everything in life is black and white.

You may give him a second chance but it's upto you. If you can't handle it emotionally that he repeats what he did before, then dont go for it. Also, if even a part of you is telling you he will not be sincere, back away now. I think smart thing would be to keep in touch without expecting too much and let things take their own course. If you also can't do that due to your feelings, then its better to stay out of it.
