Although I am 100% behind booting out some of the old guard and re-building, I think Sohail’s public criticism of fellow management colleagues like Miandad are going to wreck the spirit in the side.
Selection process is looking more and more bizarre these days and it’s no good passing the buck onto the coach when you keep dropping clangers. It was clear during the BD series that Hafeez had problems and that was the perfect opportunity to give the likes of Salman Butt or Imran Farhat a chance.
Then Salman Butt is dropped from the SA squad without getting a game and replaced with Naveed who doesn’t look up to the job any more than Faisal Iqbal - who keeps getting chances despite failing consistently.
I think Sohail needs to stick to commentating at least he provides a good laugh on the box…but we don’t need clowns on the selection panel.

I agree 100% on that... we dont need such a clown(actually idiot) as a chairman selection committee, who doesnot know good english and still he tries to make such statements ( who has no literal meanings)... specially the conversation today between him and Dean Jones proved that he is nothing but an idiot....

I was so disappointed listening to this ba$htard this morning bad-mouthing Miandad that I lost interest in the match. I was like what the hell. Why am I even rooting for a team that is selected by BC clowns like him. The guy has no professional ethics whatsoever. He is shifting the blame.
he should be sacked but i think the person replacing him should be someone who played cricket in 90"s, like Aaqib Javed, aasif Mujtaba...or Salim Mlik.(Yeah i relay wouldn't mind him as selector) so that he knows the demands of modern cricket... i think Aamir atleast did better job than selectors who played cricket in 70's and they used to pick up paki team players to play in 90.....

and anyone who knows Sohail from his earlier days is amazed that who made him the cheif selector.... he even used to act rude and starnge in his playing days....
his comments today really pissed many of us here.. my uncles father and brother no one liked it.. and we are ashamed to have such a looser as a chief selector..
Thats why we need to send him emails, so he can understand that people at large are annoyed by his silly remarks and his failure to take responsibility for his actions.
