Re: short visit to pakistan need help
I don't know anywhere near mirpur but surely by the time u get there its not going to be that cold that u can't go to Murree. I went early Feb one year and there was a lot of snow but that was part of the charm.
In anycase, don't forget to take your thermals!
hi everyone im going to pakistan inshallah end of this month just for two weaks to visit family in mirpur azad kashmir so i want to make the most of it i want to visit maree but i heard its cold out there so i need your help if you know anyplace i can go not very far from mirpur please thankyou.
NATHIAGALI (GREENS RETREAT HOTEL) AND/OR BHURBAN (PEARL CONTINENTAL) WHERE YOU CAN STAY ALSO....AS FAR AS VISITING IS CONCERNED...TRY NOT TO MISS "AYUBIA" & "PATRIATA"...RELATIVELY CLOSER TO WHERE YOU ARE ACTUALLY GOING.
ITS NOT ADVISABLE TO GO TOWARDS ABBOTABAD, SWAT ETC CURRENTLY.
ITS ALSO SNOWING AT NATHIAGALI WHICH MAY HAMPER TRAVELING DUE TO LANDSLIDES ETC. SAME FOR BHURBAN & PATRIATA & MURREE.
Re: short visit to pakistan need help
I agree with Arjay. Nathiagali would be my first choice. Go to Ayubia as well. Just few kilometers away from main Ayubia chowk (going towards Nathiagali), there is a place named MOORTI. Stop there, sit, relax and enjoy beautiful views down hill (like Switzerland).
Bhurbun is also a good choice but Nathiagali is special.
Re: short visit to pakistan need help
Be prepared for long delays on the way to nathiagalli at this time of the year, sometimes they have some blasting going on to clear the paveways/slides and you might have to wait for hours inside the car. Make sure you pack accordingly.
