I honestly think it is lame when girls are simply rejected due to them being short. If that is the ONLY reason..... yea pathetic.
Has happened to me in the past. I am 5'1''. Sad that these things still exist....even amongst super educated people living in the west. You would think we have come along further than this.... but I guess not.

Recently, I learned from my mom about her first cousin who’s been looking for a " lambi larki" for her son. Quite a few girls have been turned down because they were not tall enough. Height of her son? 5’8 :halo:
But what’s even funnier is the fact that mom’s cousin herself got married off after the age of 30, which is apparently VERY LATE to get married by Pakistani standard, because she was too tall.

I am short but my fiance to be is QUITE short too...but am happy...the guy is great..height is a very shallow characteristic to begin with.
people might even comment or criticise for all they want. but if he keeps me happy, why should I give a damn to whatever the other people say. :)
and yes people who reject girls because of height are plain idiots and they dont deserve those gems IMO :)

U know wat, ppl say it that physical features dont matter and blahh, however enough girls i know who are 5’5 or wateva consider 5’8 to be really short for guys and have rejected. No matter how fine ppl act but in reality majority do base their decisions on physical features accept it or not :k: and height and shape are 2 most important factors.
I think physical features like shape and height is the “most important factors” for a large majority of guys and their mothers out there…
But I dont think this holds true vice vera. A guys height will be taken into consideration but it isn’t “one of the most important factors”. People often let a guys physical features slide if he is extremely educated or well off. Finding someone who can provide their daughter/themselves with financial stability tends to be the one of the “most important factors” taken into consideration…
I think it is a minority of people out there that reject a guy outright simply just based on height ALONE. But it is quite common for a girl to be rejected outright for physical features. Her personality isn’t taken into consideration and education is not even inquired into if it is found out she is “too dark” or “too short”, etc.
