Shopaholic

Re: Shopaholic

yeah, u know in college type movies they show those fraternity guys that everyone hates...the preppy ones
that was me and my fraternity :D

classic pieces can be worn multiple seasons, bring in the hot color or pattern for the season in accessories which are cheaper, and maybe one or two pieces. and you can express yourself much better without breaking the bank. I have some great cashmere vnecks which I have had for 4 years and they are in great shape and i keep using them, at the same time I had bought some more trendy pieces and they get relegated to the back of the line and for bumming around and eventually given away. No issues spending to get quality classics, they cost of ownership is low and you get quality to boot.

Re: Shopaholic

A lot of people spend that much on shopping within 3 months. You can't do anything to cut down because everytime you tell yourself not to, you'll still buy more stuff. Don't worry eventually you'll cut down.

Re: Shopaholic

In my case, I'm just being greedy I guess.

Re: Shopaholic

Oh God! I just tried watching that Super Scrimpers on 4OD. Okay, dying your old panties and bras and making salad with stinging nettles is just extreme.

Re: Shopaholic

Showoff. :-P

If you have no other responsibilities, its hard to control yourself.

Oh well, what can I say? Good luck!

Re: Shopaholic

This will soiund like a cliche and be a certain tee-up for Janwar to smack down. Pbsessive shopping is masking some other issue. I think you are smart enough to figure it out. So just do it - address root cause.

(And you can mail me the check for amt you would have spent)
