There is simply not enough information to be absolutely certain. If you have not bought or replaced stuff for sometime then it is perfectly fine. Many reqsons...e.g. How clothes fit can change if someone has lost weight, Styles change, clothes get worn out, new things are needed etc etc. So you have to look at it from that perspective.
If you really need them and can afford them 1K over 3 months is not a big deal.
What was the shopping pattern before 3 months?
You know, in a water reservoir/dam, there always is a pressure-releasing valve/channel that releases water pressure on regular basis else dam breaks down (which has just happened in your case).
Begum's theory is that dont shut the shopping completely (to save money). Spending a little here and there keep that BIG bill out of question and it works.
Last year I decided to build up my wardrobe and I've been buying things since then but it's like the curse of shopping would never end. I don't even wait for the sales anymore for prices to go down, I just buy them and then the feeling I get is like the feeling you get after coming off of a roller coaster ride.
There are so many clothes and accessories I haven't even opened. I wish I could return few things back. :(
if you've got stuff with the tags still on, that you're not going to wear, sell them on ebay. making the listings will eat up your time so you don't shop online and making money will give you a little rush too. then you can donate it or save it for morocco.

Can I sell the shoes as well? They're new but without any tags.

U can sell anything at eBay. Yes, *anything
*When we decided to move from US to Canada, we had so much stuff to move, we decided to list almost half of the things on eBay & Craigslist (almost 3 months before moving) and got rid of almost everything that we listed. From new toys to used shoes. Even if a pair can fetch $10, better than throwing eh?
One my my fiance's co-worker spends around 5K (probably more) each month on shopping! I know this b/c she mentions items she has bought to fiance and other co-workers she's friends with, and we can guess the cost of it (we're talking about Chanel, Gucci, Dior, LV items etc). I've been in her home and her shoe/handbag collection made my jaw drop....literally. But then again, she's a single woman, no kids, and makes close to 450K. :)
Point being that if this spending is not creating any financial stress for you...then there's nothing wrong with it. The only time this becomes an issue if you're going into debt or you're not able to pay your other bills or contribute a appropriate amount into your savings.
I used to have a habit of doing impulse purchases. There days, when I go to the mall or any other store to buy something related to clothing or make-up.....I give myself a budget, and then I take that amount with me in cash. I leave all my credit/check cards at home. This way, once I run out of that cash, I can't buy anything no matter how badly I want it. This helps me stick within a pre-set budget and also prevents me from buying anything that I hadn't planned on buying.
I've been a victim of this. I used to shop a lot in college. I just didn't know how to not shop. Makeup was number one. I am telling you, it was all a waste. I go in that fashion section here and think that all the collections and all that I see posted of users is just so useless. There comes a time in your life when you really don't care about all of this and then you are stuck with all of the past purchases... will probably end up throwing or giving it to someone.. and that is a waste of money. I used to spend more than I could spend. I could very well spend a lot now that I am married and we have a pretty decent household income but I just don't. Maybe age does it to you, you just start realizing how many hours you put into getting all that money and just spending it like that is the most stupidest thing. We save a lot now... with my husband working just on weekends and me not working at all. Just be smart with your money, its hard earned.
