The Summer Paralympics took place in Sydney in the year 2000. It was in controversy for positive drug tests. Also, it was revealed later on that 10 out of 12 players were not disabled. Spain had no intention of playing the sports with a genuine spirit. All they wanted is the gold medal by being fraudulent.

Floyd Landis, an American cyclist participated in the Tour de France in 2006. He was far behind in 16th stage, but surprisingly came back in the next round. As a result, it was suspected to be the case of doping. After testing his urine samples it was a clear scandal in the history of sports. Along with him, other cyclists were also found to have used steroids or other athlete performance enhancing drugs

The astonishing race-fixing scandal is one of the shocking scandals in the sports history. Nelson Piquet Jr. crashed in the race in 2008. Though it seemed to be a normal and usual crash in the car racing, it was later on revealed to be a scandal in order to let Fernando Alonso win the race. It is unbelievable that sport is the field of tricks rather than a pure game.
