former Israeli premier was forced to step down after numerous female employees accused him of sexual harassment, and one accused him of rape. While Katsav protested his innocence, and suggested that this was an attempt by his opponents to stitch him up, the number of accusations was overwhelming, and he was charged with rape. A plea bargain allowed him to escape jail time, but this is one of the worst scandals of its kind to have been uncovered, anywhere in the world.

i am surpeised that you havent mentioned lance armstrong.
i still cant believe that he would be stripped of all his titles in cycling

Armstrong had won the Tour de France a record seven consecutive times between 1999 and 2005, What was amazing about his victories was the fact that he had recovered from testicular cancer in 1997 (he was diagnosd age 25) which had spread to his brain and he had to have surgery on his brain and testicles along with chemotherapy.b in 2012 he was disqualified from all his results since August 1998 for using and distributing performance-enhancing drugs and was banned from professional cycling for lifeHowever this was during a time when doping was very widespread in cycling and I think to find someone to give the titles to who had not doped would be very difficult. But that's not an excuse I guess for him to have been doping. He was considered a role model by millions and his cancer charity livestrong is very well known.
