Honestly, I’m no Karachi lover or Lahore basher…but if you look at the kind of productions that come out of Karachi and the stuff that comes out of Lahore, the difference is so obvious. It’s been there since the 80s when Karachi serials like Tanhaiyaan and Dhoop Kinaray were awesome whereas Lahore was **producing dull dreary stuff like Waris. **

Lahore is located right in the middle of agro belt so its like saying the center of creativity in USA should be Milwaukee or Cleveland, where they have all cows and the dairy industry. It’s not on. Movies the world over originate from metros on the sea, be that LA, Buenos Aires, Hong Kong or even Bombay. This is my objective viewpoint, I hold no ethnic biases, I just want Pakistani showbiz industry to go forward.

Please dont be so dumb! Waris is one of the best serials ever.
