Havent everyone noticed the established Indian habbit. They just wanna see everthing from the point that suits them. If you wanna test them just say Bevan is a better ODI batsman then Sachin... if they want proff compare batting averages. They will tell you statistics lie. Then tell them Inzi is a better batsman the Sachin and they will start comparing averages. Only this time they would like to believe the statistics.

Tendulkar is a good batsman no doubt, but he has been given the stature of god by Indians. Seems like they dont think he is human. He is the best there is the best there was and the best there will be. Well thats where the disaggrement begins. He is good but not as good as Indians think he is. Brian Lara, Yousaf Youhana, Michael Bevan, Hayden etc are in the same batting average frame as Tendulkar. Bevan's average is actaully a lot higher, which could be argued with the fact that he bats lower down the order so he has a lot of not outs... but the bottom line is, what is it that Tendulkar posseses that these players dont have excpet for the fact that he is Indian. The yall have excellent batting averages, impressive records, countless match winning innings, ability to play on any track.. so why say Tendulkar is better then any of them. Just because he belongs to a country where the population is like billions of people??

No doubt Tendulkar is the greatest ODI batsman ever but he has been playing the game for almost 15 years now and by then one would have over 12k runs.
