What is this we keep hearing from our neighbours that Sachin is the best batsmen in the world. Look at the above, Shoaib had a better batting average then Sachin in the world cup.
To all the Indian guppies, our no 11 batsmen is better than your number 1.
Thats why I think statistics shouldn’t be given such importance, both player wise and team wise. So a team beating one team shouldn’t be given the status of better team overall, you have to be able to maintain the status for a longer period of time.
