After the WC-03 The whole Pakistan nation cried for INZIMAM’s blood , SHOAIB’s blood, WASEEM AKRAM’s blood, WAQAR’s blood,MOIN Khan’s blood,RAZAK’s blood,
These guys and poor Inzimam were left out of the national side for several matches,those were his worst days with the team,seems only yesterday in’it?,and today its a different story. wah jee wah ,Etni jaldi appni jahal qaum kay kartot bhool jatay ho bhai,!!!
2ndly the opposition here on this forum against Shoaib Akhter is based on unrealistic events and ‘media comments’ and there is a large follow on crowd behind it,

The problem is, Shoaib wants to get his booty on match days and match nights. How many times have we heard of his escapades of not returning to his hotel room until the wee hours of the morning the match is supposed to start? Go get your booty, but not when you have a job to perform in the morning.
Sir you need vacation seriously. Calling a 95% majority an ** opposition **(from democratic standards :elmo: ) I am enjoying every bit of this slap (Akhtar’s interviews/bharkaein before - during - after the Aus/Ind tours) that Pakistan team has hit on his face :love: with their performances.
Yaaro kewn badnaam kartay ho Shoaib ko? Shoaib was on "gasht" with Tableeghi jamaat night before all of the matches and he was not gone clubbing/jet-skiing after those "injuries" actually the local censor board had hired him as a disguise to check the illegal activities going on in the club as well as the ski-area. Also he came back to Australia for a chilla in Pakistan, injury was ours!

I didn’t mean to say that we should dump Shoaib Akhtar till his retirement or if he is loosing his game. Shoaib is still a very good “bowler”, but that is the only good thing he carries in the package
I wonder why game bhai criticize us when we criticize Indian crowd for being too attached or emotional about their cricket team, to the extent that they dont even appreciate the good cricket that opponent is playing. With his rules Indian crowd is true loyal crowd and public should be emotional about their teams.
Now when we show our emotions for our cricket team (in fav of current players & against Shoaib) he dont want us to instead he call us “charhtey suraj key pujaree”
I think Akhtar might be selected for this tour, based on his merits, because looking from Inzi's point of view, he will put his team preferences ahead of his own (positive or negative), so if Akhtar will prove that he is physically fit for the tour, and is able to bowl consistently at a good line and length, then I won't be surprised to see his name in the list. Attitude or whatnot, personally, I think the attitudes play a major role in the team as well, and since he has shown repeatedly that he has problems with his own, I am against him (also for the reasons other members stated in this thread), but for the sake of the team, if he delivers good performance, let him be on the team.
Being in favor of players who are not currently in the team does not mean that I will start cheering more for Sehwag than for the Pakistani team like most idiotic Pakistani fans did. Shoaib is still a Pakistani and I will support the talent that he has to win Pakistan matches, no matter what most sheep state on this board. Cheering for Shoaib, that is within the sphere of Pakistan. Cheering for Sehwag more than for Shoaib in Pakistan, that is within the sphere of blithering idiots.

Some of these people have an inexplicable hatred for Shaoib. It does'nt make any sense, the guy is a breat bowler, if he was Indian he would probably be bigger than Amitab or Sachin. As a Pakistani all he gets are curses and insults.
HE has personal issues or whatever, but that doesnt mean you should forget about his obvious cricket skills
Really? If Shoaib were Indian he’d be bigger than Sachin or Amitabh even with all his baggage? A few months ago, Ganguly was the superstar, his popularity and marketability ranks just below Sachin, and his record of 22 ODI centuries speaks for itself. Now most Indians are crying for his head. And Ganguly was a bigger star in India than Shoaib ever will be. Even Sachin doesn’t escape the public’s wrath when he performs below par. Ironically, if Shoaib were Indian, his attitude problem would’ve been sorted out long ago. The ad dollars (or rupees) that you command for endorsing a product, are directly proportional to your behavior on and off the field. It’s fine to verbally blast your opposition or mouth off before the start of the series, for this is part of modern cricket warfare, but you have to be true to your own team. Be a complete team man and be supportive of your team mates and captain, and do your best to help the team win.
No one is debating Shoaib’s talent. He just has to learn where his priorities should be.
