I think NOT selecting Shoaib AKhtar for the WI tour would NOT be fair either. He should ONLY be selected on merit and his recent performance in the domestic arena just like other prospects will be considered for the tour. If he is good enough to make the cut for 14 touring team, then he should be included.
As far discipline goes, I think Chaacha Bob knows how to apply that indifferently to every player. That's all we as fans would hope for that Akhtar doesn't get the preference treatment. Such superstar treatment brings the morale of the rest of the team down in a jiffy.

Shaoib should be given a fair chance. On skill alone he is a good enough player to play for Pakistan. He has proven his abilities time and time again. People just selectivly remember things and write him off because of it.

Shoaib, should be given one last chance in this up-coming series against WI. If he he along with our other youngsters perform the same way or stronger keep him. But if ONE rumor goes out that he is spoiling the atmosphere of the dressing room, then kick him out.
