Bowled well today. Charged up like his old self. But he was extremely exhausted after 3 overs.
I don’t think he will or should play test matches again because his fitness is not going to drastically improve at this age.
For T20s he can be handy like proved today.
For ODIs he needs to be used like Punter used Tait earlier this summer. 2-3 over burts only. He cannot do the 5-6 over spell that most opening fast bowlers do for ODIs. It will have to be split into 3-4 spells.

I dont think he is needed any more.
Even today he gave some extra runs and drop a dolly..... I am sure if he hasn't got wicket he would have broken after 2 overs
The best use is to ground him. Even if u wrap him in cotton he cannot be used any more for any format . Consistency is the key . He may bowled better today but next few matches will be horrible

Moonstar.. who doesnt field bad in the Pak team anyway? It's not just Shoaib.
Amir and Asif should be getting banned (for whatever amount of time) soon. You need Shoaib for limited overs.

^ I dont mind if he can finish his quota of 10 overs. Excuse for my language but after 3 overs he was looking like a thirsty dog who just lost a long long dog race...

he did take 2 wickets today and bought us back into the match
only problem he got is with his fielding
but if even 20 year old umar cant field than v cant rest shoaib just for his fielding

Sleeping with Indian actresses, thats his best utilization for next few years. After that he probably wont even be able to do that. He hasnt any place in cricket field.

His better utilization would be to bring bottles and gloves for batsmen.
Jokes aside, he was huffing and puffing after bowling two and half overs today. His fielding was just abysmal. He should exit cricket with whatever respect he has earned. Majority of the times this realization comes a bit too late..

I realize he is not FANTASTIC.. but in amir and asif's absence.. I just don't see enough good fast bowlers to make up the attack without Shoaib.. at the moment at least.
