I don't think so...Most desis parents and specially brothers are always protective of females in their family. In desi gatherings, guys think twice before approaching a female. Imagine everyone staring at them including ladki's abba. :)

I don't know if they 'are' indecent but that's how I feel whenever I've worn them...they don't look so decent..(personal preference)

i dunno, maybe our families are different. All my relos (the few hundred i have), they find it a lot easier talking/approaching female cousins then strangers... but then again, maybe my family are just the indecent type
