I would respect him just for the fact that he has elaborated deen - Quran and Sunnah. Nothing of his own. When he dies I won't ask him, nor will we go to his grave. He dies and his chapter closes. He is a human being like you and me, and we ask only Allah

Jazakallah Brother, No offence, but same would go for Sheikh Muhammed Salih Al-Munajjid too.

As for the authenticity of the tradition. I do have the book but I am not an authority on it. Whether the tradion is authentic or not? I am sorry I can not tell.

But what I know is that the book is written by Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani - The Great Ghose Azam!, “whos foot was on the neck of thousands of Walis” (<< what I heard) and who said:

**“I acquired knowledge to such an extent that I became a Qutab and reached perfection through the grace of Allah”. ** source

Again, please consult a Brelvi Alim (not molvi). Perhaps he can throw some light on it.

i doubt that he said such a thing because most walis of Allah are humble and not arrogant. secondly no one is perfect in religion but the rasul of Allah :saw:

You will never go to the graves !
It means you would do against the teachings of Prophet Muhammad(PBUH). At least Prophet did go to the graves of Shuhada and other Muslims.. at least at least on the occasion of Eid
