Shia - Sunni Unity , One god , One religion , One ummah!

Re: Shia - Sunni Unity , One god , One religion , One ummah!

Are Muslims born with a stamp on their forehead ? No. Right ? I do not mean decide in literal terms. I mean decide who is supposed to be thought in the folds of Islam. Some basic definition . For example Most Muslims accept as a Muslim anyone who has publicly pronounced the Shahadah.
Others say just saying shahadah is not enough there are some more qualifications for one to be pronounced Muslim. If we accept a basic definition of a Muslim that can bring us closer to each other. Other details will only matter to those who agree to and follow what you believe in and practice.
What I have problem with is that we the Muslims are the only people who spend time, money and energy to disqualify others from being Muslims or Misguided Muslims at the least. Other religions spend time, money and energy to bring more people of other beliefs into their folds.

Re: Shia - Sunni Unity , One god , One religion , One ummah!

Sunni's belive are that aisha was most beloved wife of Rasool s.a.w .... I wudnt agree there and i wudnt call aisha better than any of Rasool s.a.w 's wife but saying something like that abt aisha is not fair .... not fair to sunni's or Islam ... After all she was Rasool s.a.w wife and I condemn it if someone does say it !

Re: Shia - Sunni Unity , One god , One religion , One ummah!

How can someone bring source when Source from Quran is provided ! agree that ALLAH is pleased with sahaba's but not all

And the first to lead the way, of the Muhajirin and the Ansar, and those who followed them in goodness - Allah is well pleased with them and they are well pleased with Him, and He hath made ready for them Gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide for ever. That is the supreme triumph.

There is a condition "those who followed em in goodness" hich means ALLAH isnt pleased with all .... And now if all were following them in gudness would there be a need to mention that "those who followed them in goodness" which clearlly means all r not r.a
However you guys have used it with all sahaba ... put sahaba on side r.a was even used for yazid !!! tell me if am not being reasoable..

Re: Shia - Sunni Unity , One god , One religion , One ummah!

Salam-o-Alaikum,

First of all i'd like to thank you all for such good debate and tolerance towards each other. Secondly, i would congratulate the thread opener with the best at heart and mind (Unity of Ummah).

My thoughts on this are not much different from all of you. I think we all can agree that we believe in the Qalma that There is no God but Allah, and Muhammad (saw) is His prophet.

That's the pivot point of all our balance. We all maintain that, all the other issues are that of our interpretation and sectual beliefs. Although i would consider myself Sunni; however, i do not differ with my Shia brothers on many points because it's like the Light that comes from the same source and spreads in different ways.

Unity is indeed very possible. We as an ummah should be able to discuss our issues and come to common terms with each other. As long as we don't compromise the fact that Allah is one and only worthy of worship and Muhammad (saw) is His prophet sent to us, we're already on our way to being one ummah, acting like one ummah and living like one ummah. All the other details are workable.

Sure we have our difference, but that does not mean we inflame ourselves and show absolute rage towards each other and present ourselves as a shattered mirror that still reflects the original image but it is no longer united. One of the biggest things that haunts the Muslims today is the disunity and distrust that we all have between each other. It is this very distrust that gives the evil(s) space to come in between and widen the gaps overtime. If we can diminish that antimosity, and show a united face to the rest of the world. Our problems will begin to disappear. I have no doubt in my mind that Islam can and inshaAllah will succeed in becoming a tower of hope for all humanity as it once was. But we must show a united face to the rest of the world. Every family has its inner struggles and arguments but at presentation everyone seems like one united family. Such should be the state of Muslims. The state of muslims should be like a Saff (row for praying), where we all stand shoulder to shoulder with no space left for the wicked to turn out hearts against each other. It's the muslim brotherhood.

I was listening to a sunni scholar and he said a very beautiful thing. He said, " we have to quit labeling our muslim brothers of different opinion as Kafirs because we ourselves don't know the complications that causes calling a believer of the Qalma kafir. He further said he would not hesitate a single bit praying behind a Shia brother because all brothers have different personalities but they are still brothers nonetheless." I know it maybe hard to swallow for many of us but for the sake of Islam, lets all just join hands.

Forgive if one is wrong because the way of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was to forgive others, so you can be in a position to ask for forgiveness from Allah in return. We cannot continue to be selfish and ride on the tide of pride that has separated us and spread us like the foam on the surface of ocean, which has no will of its own and is carried away from side to side. We need to become a united Ummah, so we can face the threats facing muslims together.

The ummah of Muslims is much like a body, when one part hurts, the entire body feels the pain.

May Allah (SWT) guide us all, draw us closer like a tight knit that is hard to break, and give the ummah of Muhammad (saw) the strength to rid the wicked evils that keep us separated. Ameen

Re: Shia - Sunni Unity , One god , One religion , One ummah!

i cant say that it wud suit here ... as one part of body is trying to bomb other and others keep cursing thier religious heros ... But yet i feel like sayin well said.

Re: Shia - Sunni Unity , One god , One religion , One ummah!

this is enough to make you a kafir
you are a worse kafir then hindus
hindu is a kafir but still he doesnt say any thing bad about AShab e Rasool or Azwaj e rasool SAW whom ALLAH ta'ala sent ayat in quran about them and said i am Razi with them and they are with me and you are saying bad to them

Re: Shia - Sunni Unity , One god , One religion , One ummah!

Re: Shia - Sunni Unity , One god , One religion , One ummah!

Shame on you. Forget what shias call or say about Umm ul Momimeen Hazrat Aisha (RA), see what have you done. you are intentionally or unintentionally posting their views here on the forum and hurting the majority of the Muslims who do not agree with shia ideology. I strongly recommend that Moderators should block your account. Furthermore i don't believe that majority of shias also believe in what you have said. so keep quiet if you don't know what to say.

Re: Shia - Sunni Unity , One god , One religion , One ummah!

Yes they do. One of the first anti-Islam sites I came across was published by a Hindu, and it had a lot of hateful things about the Prophet.

Re: Shia - Sunni Unity , One god , One religion , One ummah!

Buddy dont blame me for that ... i was hearing it from u and i said if someone does its wrong !!!!
And what do we say bad abt hazrat Ayesha ... Read Quran when ALLAH tells em to stay in there homes what was aisha doing in battle field ! which is wrong so I call her wrong .... but prostitue thing i am hearing this from u !

Re: Shia - Sunni Unity , One god , One religion , One ummah!

thanks i was actually trying to avoid this word ! if we think abt it ... she is Rasool s.a.w wife ... Saying things like that wud hurt islam

Re: Shia - Sunni Unity , One god , One religion , One ummah!

Astagfirullah!

Can you please stop. She's revered as the Mother of all Faithfuls. Malang, i sincerely hope you pray to God for forgiveness.

:( It's sad to see you people degrading the Prophet (PBUH) indirectly by bad mouthing Hazrat Aisha (r.a.).

Re: Shia - Sunni Unity , One god , One religion , One ummah!

cant agree more .... I dunno abt shia's but malang has done enogh damage here

Re: Shia - Sunni Unity , One god , One religion , One ummah!

again, i wonder with this kind of knowledge and lack of common sense, how can people have a decent discussion with non-Muslims. That's why i only jump into debate when i see this problem.

@tegy
brother you are making no sense. The worst sin on this planet according to Islam is worshiping something/someone other than Allah or not believing in His existence. Now if i say "An atheist told me that Allah is an evil" or "Islamic haters say that Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was a womanizer" astegfirullah, does this make me a sinner? I'm quoting and telling you what allegations other people are laying against Allah and the character of Prophet (SAW). Could you please explain me how exactly would i become a sinner? This is the same in brother malang's case!

yeh, using words like those for our mothers (RA) hurt Islam but calling them sinners and slandering them doesn't hurt Islam eh! Right bro aqeel?

Could you please show me the verse(s) where Allah ordered our mothers (RA) to stay at their houses and don't go outside? Let's turn this thread into decent discussion instead of hatred. Bro Malang, please hold your thoughts; i would appreciate.

^ true......since when is this a common misconception that women are not allowed to go outside of their homes...or drive...or not vote..
women have been teachers, traders, successful business women, advisors, health care providers(daaees, doctors--women's health),and all kinds of jobs that catered to women...and of all ages...no restrictions....Women of islam were given voting rights (42:38)...she has the right to own property,wealth..pursue professions in civil/justice systems...etc...as men your responsibility should be to make sure they are protected...instead of finding ways to take such rights away from us...

Re: Shia - Sunni Unity , One god , One religion , One ummah!

^ do u know religion better than abdullah b umar[ra] ? who ordered his sister to sit at home and not accompany the people of the camel
this commandment was for the wives of the Prophet [saw] not all women
