great scholar, huge services to Islam, especially in setting the trends for giving wa'z and establishing tawheed....
unfortunately those who claim to be his followers go against his teachings....
and i wonder what the muslims of indo-pak will do, being kattar hanafis, when they know that he was a strict hanbali....
He was a Hanafi at first, and became a Hanbali when Imam Ahmed ibn Hanbal came into his dream and asked him to follow the Hambali school of jurisprudence because he feared that his school would be extinct.
