Errr..why would you call Nadia Afghan or indeed any other human being ugly??? I think she IS befitting in the role of an ‘ordinary looking’ girl. Although I have to say, If she was shown as a down to earth humble woman that would have made more sense. These attributes would have made the fact more believable that Salman couldn’t help fall in love with her.
I am well impressed with Mahira in this. She has improved her performance immensely since Humsafar. You can tell she totally gets into the character and everything from her dialogue delivery to her expressions to her dresses has just been WOW! Loved her monologue near the pond. The analogy of a woman being a ‘bail’ and the man being the ‘deewar’ was so beautiful. Hats off to Umera Ahmed for bringing tears in the eyes of some of the wives here!
