Will definitely watch it. Definitely looks pretty scary..I remember reading these type of novels/stories back in the days ...
so excited to see Mahira in the lead role.

uhh I have read this novel. I kind of liked it. Was morbid but had a very good story. Should be interesting to see it dramatised, I hope!

This is the story of a very beautiful, proud and bestowed girl, namely Falak, who has EVERYTHING anyone would want in life... There's just one more thing she wants... -SALMAN ANSAR. She loves him dearly, and somehow, manages to lure him with her beauty and makes him fall in Love with her. They get married, living happily for almost 3 years, but that is when their lives start changing. Particularly, Falak's! Falak had changed herself COMPLETELY to what salman wanted of her in the past 3 years, and now she had noticed him drifting away from her, he got irritated and couldnt stand her anymore. Seeing how the LOVE of her life had rejected her, she becomes insane, almost, and vows to get him back from who took him away from her, only to see that the girl salman falls in love with is NOTHING compared to her... ugly too. She then realizes how its ALLAH (swt)'s wish as to whom he makes someone love and slowly she starts interpreting the religious, spiritual meanings of everything in life. She then becomes closer to Allah, leaves all the wordly things... how all this is to unfold.. is something we'll be looking forward to, in Shehr-e-Zaat =)

Mahira Khan's acting = ZERO FAIL :S
I have read the novel and the character requires to be extremely emotional and energetic, when i saw mahira saying "mujhay zaat ki chah hai" then i found that she wasn't a good choice for the character

I personally don't think Mahira is a good actress. Humsafar did well mainly because of Fawad and the chemistry btw the leading pair, not because of Mahira's acting
