Hacks like Shafiq, YK, Hafeez (please check his record vs non minnows), Tanvir were persisted with last two years without blooding in new talent and now the exact new talent is expected to perform all of a sudden? Sohail, Maqsood and Akmal are being shafted around the order to accommodate the useless YK. Gloves are handed to a part-timer as well just so YK can play. Jamshed a useless hack whos been horrific last two years was called in. How bad could an unknown like Sami Aslam would have been?
And now we didn’t have time to prepare? Why not do A tours of NZ or Aus or England? Why not send the team to Aus a month ago for practice?

Then my apologies. I could not tell that from the post. In that case I say I agree. I just hate mixing politics and games. Just like everybody does every time there is a Pakistan India match.
As for our team, we need to kick out everybody and get the U19 team to play instead.

As for U19, I was reading somewhere the U19 team that whooped India a few years back we only have one or two from that team in our squad last two or odd years. While India (even S.Africa) have more than half of them. This ‘senior’ garbage is killing us. I am sure you follow football too (or Soccer as you guys call it :D) can you imagine a 35 year old hogging a place because he is ‘senior’?
I will guarantee you. After this WC instead of wholesale changes we will go back to Kamran, Malik, Farhat, Tanvir the usual dross. You can’t recognise Saffers’ or Indians or Aussie teams from 2005 to now while honestly if we look back a decade ago we STILL have the same tripe in our team right uptil the WC. There has been no change. Nada.
Wasim was commentating with Bishop I think and both recognised some obvious tactical issues in ten minutes, I don’t know what Waqar is smoking he can’t rectify basic problems.
