ofcourse they were manipulations. the English were given a trading post and the right tp fortify it and that’s how it started. Mongolian, Moghul and Arabic visitors and tradesmen were welcomed and given preferential hospitaility and that’s how those things started.
And in all cases not just armies but common people suffered. For example, a large number became or were converted to islam as a result of those wars and subsequent occupation (but for that there wont be a Pakistan or the muslim population of some 150+ million in India). If the US occupies Pakistan and converts a large percentage of Pakistanis to Christianity or Judiasm, would you consider that sufferings or not?
I know it is bitter pill and you’d like to think you’re victims of the west but not victims of arabs and moghuls but facts say otherwise.
If you are going to put everything that happened as terrorism than current India is no less a terrorist, just look at Kashmir, just look at whats happening to Muslims and Christians. I didn’t want to stoop to that level but you are just stretching it.
