I wax my legs but it takes too darn long:teary1: though as a result i don’t have any hair growth at all on certain parts of my leg. i’ve also tried waxing my underarm..oh man, does it hurt bad or wot..it even bleeds but seriously i have never seen them that cleaner with the razor

However, I always have one response to those who say shaving is haram...if so, then what did women use before the days of hair removal cream to keep themselves clean as dictated in islam? No-one ever has an answer!
even today many girls/women especially in villages and small cities use some homemade stuff to apply on and then pluck their hair with hands.....it's PAINFUL!

theres lots of sugaring stuff available in shoppers drug mart, but i'm not sure if it'll really work...

I bought this Persian cold wax, it was a pain to wax alone. Make sure you have someone to partner up with you. Its messy business.

dont beleive in shaving for women, re-growth is so spiky...
waxing is always best and gives much more of a long-lasting smoother result...

guyss yaar i have heard that shaving is haram but only if u are using blade otherwise u can remove ur hair using wax

has anyone tried silkapel(that electrical thingie)? i use that as well but after waxing when/if i see some small hair which dont go away by waxing - whats better waxing or silkapel? my cousin told me that most of the girls who have dark underarms should not use silkapel since waxing in some way (dont know how) lightens that area...

are you talking about Silk-epil epilator? i wasted about $100 or so on taht:( . i rarely use it , it is so painful…it feels as if you’re mowing a lawn:bummer: i find waxing much better and less painful

my only issue with waxing is how long you have to wait between waxes. i do wear skirts in the summertime and i have no patience waiting for hair to grow to an appropriate length to wax it. so i shave! sally hansen's shaving cream for legs is AWESOME. its way thicker and has more moisturiser in it so theres no irritation using it.

Man i stopped waxing my underarms over a yr ago cos i got them LASERED. Its the best thing i swear. Hardly no regrowth and last yr i only had to get it done 3 times and hardly NOTHING came back. Its the bizz. I know ppl that have got their legs lasered and im thinking of getting them done as well as i have them waxed at the mo and its a pain having to go to the salon.
Id highly recommend laser!

Lasers come down in price in London cos so many places r offering it now.Yeh it does hurt a little bit but its worth it for the result. I mean ive got friends who get their whole bikni line lasered but im not brave enuff to have that lasered yet cos i know that wud hurt like hell.
