CMON GUYS! I tried before but no one said anything.

What do you guys use to shave? Why do you use that particular method? Do you actually enjoy shaving?

Who in their sane mind likes shaving ?

Besides, stubble is in.

You do have to trim the beard and clean around the neck.

I don't know any men that enjoy shaving. I think if it was up to them, they'd all look like cavemen.

one of my brothers still prefers that puffy brush and the cup of shaving soap
and he likes the old double-edged razor cuz it is heavier and “feels good in his hand”
sort of like a nicely-weighted knife in a chef’s hand he says.

Exfoliate every few days..

Warm towel on face before shave..

Preshave oil before every shave, usually Anthony logistics..

Silver tip Badger hair brush

Shaving cream, one of truefitt and hill, geo f trumpet or Taylor of old bond street. Also like Proraso shaving cream from Italy which I got hooked on during my studies there and is my fallback option in general.

For razor, a Gillette fusion, gives the best mix of speed and shave. I would use the older style safety razor, have one by merkur that is the closest shave ever with the exception of a straight razor I guess but not brave enough to try and learn that. Merkur is used when I have time.

I don't dislike shaving, but do give shaving a break twice a week usually Sunday and Wednesday.

Used electric shavers which are okay, general shave gel from edge or Gillette etc which is okay. This gives me a closer shave, I enjoy the ritual and the little bit of luxury.

i am stuck at the second line, X2. what do you mean warm towel on face? get a warm towel and drop on face? or get a cold towel and warm it on face? halp i need to shave before tomorrow.

soak a hand towel or face cloth in hot, hot water and wring it out....then fold it lengthwise and place on the areas that will be shaved.

the heat opens up the pores and is supposed to make for a closer and more comfortable shave.
