This is wierd (and funny). Who is writing this? Clearly its not from Shaukat Aziz.
Re: Shaukat Aziz's unofficial review of his own tenure
lol bechara shauky, whoever wrote it, it does show how he feels like, after being discarded by elahi and shujaat as a used u know what...
Re: Shaukat Aziz's unofficial review of his own tenure
^ nahi yaar, he escaped at the right time. He did what world's financers wanted, now he is back to his original job. Shakaut Tareen, his operative is still on the ground doing the remaing work.
Pak-Saudi bank has been sold to Musqat Bank and Namoura of Japan. Tareen is the middle man as usual. Just imagine what is going to happen with all 50+ banks in Pak.
Zillay Subhani Zindabad kehne waalay soon will see the grand theft pak episode exposed in full in coming months.
Re: Shaukat Aziz’s unofficial review of his own tenure

Re: Shaukat Aziz’s unofficial review of his own tenure
Nothing against you smooth bro!
Bus! You know this bbc urdu.com’s Mr. Khan has “zero” self respect. No Indian, or Chinese will ever write this “merasi-pun” and “bhaand-pun” of nth degree about their country.
We are already running on fumes when it comes to self-respect, and these turncoat merasis simply add to the cynicism and negative hysteria.
PM Aziz is a gentleman, and he did what he could to improve the country. However the terrorists and anarchists continuously resisted our progress and development.
So far, and I mean even PM Aziz’s enemies have not said anything even remotely close to the “Mashhoori” of Mr. 10%.
So here we are, Pakistani people want technocrats to rule them, and guess what they got some excellent technocrats who did their best for the country.
Bhaands and Merasis on the other hand will also continue to do what they do best. Merasi pun!
disclaimer! There is off course no anti-Pakistan or even cynical poster on the gs. I am just talking about this BBC guy Aamir Khan.
Re: Shaukat Aziz's unofficial review of his own tenure
lol anyone who dares speak against mush has no respect? lol
Re: Shaukat Aziz’s unofficial review of his own tenure
Somebody should have told Condaleeza Rice what a gentlemen PM Aziz was, before she was forced stare him down after his play boy impression…

Apparently some of us aren't aware of the 'true' freedom of media. Ever check headlines that entail the president of the U.S.? Some go as far as calling him names, and not once have they been shut down or told to curb the language. You're quick to give examples of how Pakistan should become moderate and develop, well with that comes the ability to withstand humor and criticism.
So please....don't get all out of joint over this. We all want to see a more prosperous Pakistan but it will not happen until the politicians of all levels feel the heat of the media, only then will they do their jobs because they'll have the genuine fear of being scandelized and becoming a laughing stock for the people at large.
To give media freedom does not mean to expect all positive and nothing humerous or negative. The media is doing its job quite well, thank you very much. If the politicians in Pakistan cared about their dignity, then they're be sincere and not give the others a chance to point fingers.
Nothing against you...:) i hope u know.
Re: Shaukat Aziz's unofficial review of his own tenure
If this bbc dude was in pakistan, he would have been suffering from renal failure already
Re: Shaukat Aziz's unofficial review of his own tenure
well, the guy still did a decent job. A little munching here n there is OK, given the corrupt political culture in Pakistan. But good thing though he wasn't able to sell off Stell Mill for dirt cheap price.

Shaukat Aziz was a tool, but over all he was relativly honest tool, that was tainted through his dealing with a corrupt dictator.

You think?
My friend you have to read beyond what people write, with a keenness of Hawk’s eye.
Let me put this straight -- There are anti-Pakistan elements on this forum and their persistence is outrageous. Anti-Pakistan does not always suggest outside forces, there is a threat from within. People need to wake-up and smell the coffee, sooner the better, the threat of becoming another Afghanistan has reached our doorstep.

There is difference here. Are we talking about people just reporting the news, or political Talk Show people such as Bill Oreilly and Shawn Hannity? Those people give their oppinion, and they call demoratic party runners names, and its broadcast on the public media.

Did you ever read newspaper articles about Bush after he was caught singing songs with a guitar after the hurricate kartrina wrecked havoc?
Re: Shaukat Aziz's unofficial review of his own tenure

You really have no idea, do you? Maybe you ought to take a break from all the Pakistan news and always blindly backing up the failed regime of Pakistan and read U.S. news for once. They have blasted the govt. policies in the language that pakistan has yet to adopt for its govt. And you know what? People support them because it's the bitter truth and not one of the anchor or network employees have been jailed, tortured, killed, had their houses and offices broken into. You know why? Because it's the true free media. Not the make belief kind Musharraf and Co. want in Pakistan.
They may claim that they freed the media, but the fact is the Jang Group has had its roots with people from long ago. Musharraf just didn't object to the media springing up at the rate at it has, but it does not mean to give them freedom to speak the truth but only the truth that is acceptable to the establishment. It was their right and they deserve to be free (at last, i might add). That's not how it works. There's the good and the bad. When SWAT is won back by the forces, the media networks report that. Just when they start to unfold the ill-done by current regime, it becomes unpatriotic and dangerous for the country? What?!?!.....
And what mainstream media calls bush names and puts the responsibility on him? Almost all of them do. With the exception of Fox News which is well....what PTV is to Pakistan.
As for my patriotism and love for the land and its people, read my previous post. I love Pakistan just as much as you or anyone. But i don't go seeking the sweet truth rather than the bitter one which may in the long run be better for the country. The sooner people unite and become one and demand a democracy, and voice their rejection against 'pop pop win win woo woo' and all for the funds they're receiving, we'll eliminate the terrorism from within. People need to be educated, not starved to death with the increasing prices and lacking supplies. People will fight terrorism, if only the Govt. understand the people and goes with the peoples' mandate rather than enforcing its own on them.
Re: Shaukat Aziz's unofficial review of his own tenure
Thanks for NOT answering my question. Tell me when Washington Post, NY Times, Wall Street Journal or even BBC etc. called Bush names. Provide me a link from a reputable paper and I'll accept my mistake.
