Re: Shaukat Aziz's unofficial review of his own tenure
Thanks for NOT answering my question. Tell me when Washington Post, NY Times, Wall Street Journal or even BBC etc. called Bush names. Provide me a link from a reputable paper and I'll accept my mistake.
If you would've read beyond the first sentence, you wouldn't be saying this. Oh but then again, i know how you are. You probably would, just for the sake of defending your false ego.
Re: Shaukat Aziz's unofficial review of his own tenure
Apparently some of us aren't aware of the 'true' freedom of media. Ever check headlines that entail the president of the U.S.? Some go as far as calling him names, and not once have they been shut down or told to curb the language.
Teggy bro! This bbc dude wants to ape Americans only in one way.
Americans are not simply bhaands and merasis, rather they work their tails off, and for sure they shed blood for their country.
In our case, we don't have patriotism 1/1000th that of Americans, Chinese, or Indians. Instead of learning nationalism and patriotism, this bbc dude wants to "import" bhaandism. May be it is his way of getting "outsourcing" from America. May God give him aql.

I do wish that all of us became that patriotic and thought for the nation as others do. InshaAllah, we'll get up again.
Re: Shaukat Aziz's unofficial review of his own tenure
You think?
My friend you have to read beyond what people write, with a keenness of Hawk’s eye.
Let me put this straight -- There are anti-Pakistan elements on this forum and their persistence is outrageous. Anti-Pakistan does not always suggest outside forces, there is a threat from within. People need to wake-up and smell the coffee, sooner the better, the threat of becoming another Afghanistan has reached our doorstep.
I agree the real threats are from within. Look at Zia's policies which gave us Jihadiz (hundreds of CIA funded madarsaas (even US congressmen and policy makers have admitted this on numerous occassions in last several years) across the country), linguistic divisions, MQM, NS, opium trade and further military political power. Then the musical chair and stupid governments of BB and NS. Then we have dubious dictator who was thought to be the saviour and very articulate in dealing with US bull after 9/11. The policy has backfired from both sides of the conflict and its not him suffering its Pakistan that is suffering. Thousands of Pakistanis have been toasted by the crazy Jihadiz which he is failed to stop and crack down effectively (wouldn't you agree).
This is the inside threat, the lame and incompetent leadership.
And people of Pakistan have all the right to crticize the people in charge. Because they are on receiving side, regardless if they are hit by foreign policies or brainless jihadiz. Call it anti-Pakistan, if thats what your dictionary says.
