Re: Sharing your recipes
Ufffff did u even read my above post???
I said only for this thread.
let m3 explain while I was reading your post naani was sitting front of me thats why I wrote * I JUST ASKED NAANI* ke why do you share recipes why dont u keep it secret (THIS CLEALRY WAS A QUESTION).
Kinzz,
Did you not say in the Tikka biryani thread that you thought it was ‘rude’
for someone who knows a recipe and doesn’t share it?
And now you have shared the story of how you told your own naani that she should keep her recipes a secret…and you must not have seen anything wrong, or surprising, or weird, or even rude about this suggestion that you provided your own grandmother with. If it was such a rude thing, I don’t think you would have suggested it to her.
Therefore, Kinzz, you should not have any issues at all with any person…chahay woh NON-chef ho ya professional chef ho…you shouldn’t be upset if either one of these two groups doesn’t want to share a recipe. You should not find it “rude” if someone (regardless of profession) chooses not to share a recipe since you had no hesitation venturing the secrecy suggestion.
And …if after this post…you still think that I am only talking about professional chefs…then it is you that missed the point big time.
