All of a sudden the word of the americans is gospel for you. That means the americans were right to given Gen. Zia a red carpet welcome. They must have agreed with what he did as well.

And I dont see any let down in the sit-ins, as they are not dependent on any external power, much like what status quo parties are used to.

Gospel is for those who get oxygen from gods on earth. And believers in this Gospel still calling the shots.

As regard to Zia-ul-Haq, I don’t know about what you are saying but he was smoked out along with more than 30 ‘hawaris’. The collateral damage is still a mystery. Even army could not come out with exactly what happened to Pak 1.
