Supreme Court has disqualified Sharif brothers today; with the result Shahbaz Sharif is no longer CM. And now it doesnt seem as if he can become CM again as he cannot do so for the third time and unless the judiciary changes (slim chances for that now)…So is that the end of Sharif brothers politically?

Shahbaz Sharif will continue as CM until a 3 member bench Decide, whether he is capable or not.
Untill then shahbaz Shrif will continue as CM.
Well Supreme Court has cancelled the notification of Shahbaz Sharif as well so he's no longer CM Punjab.

NO! SC has designed a 3 member bench for Shahbaz Sharif, that will decide whether he can remain as Cm or not, Until then he can work as CM.

These two thugs were corrupt, coward, terrorist, security risk, and malicious. Now, after decision on merit without political consideration by courts, let see if these two thugs would accept what they deserve, or use their stolen country's wealth to harm and destabilise Pakistan.

The court also declined to rule on a challenge to an electoral ban on his brother, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, effectively maintaining a bar on him standing for election.
‘All appeals have been dismissed by the Supreme Court,’ senior lawyer Akram Sheikh told reporters outside the court.
Shahbaz Sharif vacated the CM House after the court’s decision.
A court in Lahore ruled last June that Nawaz Sharif, ousted by former president Pervez Musharraf in a 1999 coup, was ineligible to stand in a by-election because of previous criminal convictions.
The current Pakistani government appealed the decision, after Sharif played a key role in beating Musharraf’s allies in elections in Feb 2008.
Nawaz Sharif heads the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) and does not currently sit in any parliament.

Why Nawaz is for the same judges (including ex-CJ Iftikhar) who legitimized his ouster from Govt. in 1999 and validated Musharaf's action. In fact, it is Nawaz Sharif who had always maligned judges..

Since your a PPP supporter how come Gilani is still the pm? He was convicted of fraud and served 5 years in jail under Mushrraf? Or will the same "independent" SC going disqualify him too? BTW, personally I'm happy to see Sharifs out of politics...only if we can find the way to keep Zardari out too...it would be best thing for the country.
