Pakistan is governed by the basic concepts of sharia already. And even if you don’t agree, your version of shariah cannot be implemented through barbaric violence.

Uncle is not taking about Taliban type extremism, he is right in saying that we can have Taqi Usmani and form a scholars committee to implement Shariah. That would save us from Taliban type shariah...which you are so afraid of...
The problem is that we have never had secularism. The present system does need a correction but it needs to be more secular.
We have already saved ourselves from the Taliban type shariah by defeating the mullahs in the election.

The commands of the Shariah are in the Quran. Any hatred expressed against the Shariah is hatred directed to the Quran.

I personally don't believe that shariah is appropriate for today's age. That does not make me a disbeliever, that makes me a sane human being. Muslims have already decided that they don't want shariah by not voting for any of the jihadi parties so they are using violence to try to achieve their goals.
The bottom line is that the mullah brigade are sore losers so they are killing everybody.

Why cant the nation just accept Islamic Shariah as the supreme law of the land ?
Why do we have to cause so much bloodshed and chaos....when we know that what they're demanding is nothing but the Shariah...something thats prescribed upon us by the Quran.
Given that the Taliban are ruthless at times....why cant we have respected scholars like Taqi Usmani and his peers who would head the Shariah implementation committee.
a. which sharia is right?? every one talks about quran and sunnah, but have we ever reache da consensus on it? i dont think so.
b. when we have a constitution, why do we need sharia?
c. why do you think all the people will agree with what Taqi usmani has to say?

And you're the scholar who is going to teach me what sharia is? The entire mullah brigade cannot come to a conclusion on what sharia is and which version of sharia is best and how to implement, and you want taliban jahils to implement their version of it by force?
When right wingers can agree on what sharia is, they should only then tell the rest of us normal people that this sharia and this is how we are going to implement it. Until then, they should stay behind closed doors and pray.
Pakistan is already an Islamic state, so unless anyone of the sharia cheerleaders has a practical alternative, they should stop declaring others as kaafir for not following their yet to be defined version of sharia.
