Share Stories of Successful Fertility Treatments!

Re: Share Stories of Successful Fertility Treatments!

^ you gotta be proactive- God helps those who helps themselves type of thing, you know? and if it works, then insha'Allah you have a healthy baby. i'm sure you are praying and asking Allah for help and insha'Allah you will have another opportunity to go for Umrah too.

Re: Share Stories of Successful Fertility Treatments!

I'm in the US...Texas...we did 3 embryos for both times of IVF...first time only one took, second time..voila, twins! ;)

Re: Share Stories of Successful Fertility Treatments!

ooh.. the fertility specialists i'm currently with only allow 1 even though i begged them and said i'll sign a waiver that they will not be held responsible for any complications. We'll see how this first attempt goes and then if needed go somewhere else. thanks

Re: Share Stories of Successful Fertility Treatments!

Usually with IVF they do upto 2 but not more than 2 - depends on the clinic you go to but in NJ thats what they told me -

Goodluck to everyone :)

Re: Share Stories of Successful Fertility Treatments!

very informative thread.
I am starting my first IVF cycle next month. Just pray everyone that it works the first time. we are looking to do mini ivf with ICSI. Have 4 consultation with different fertility clinics in NY. Lets see which one gives me better rate.

Re: Share Stories of Successful Fertility Treatments!

good luck awasi786!

what is a mini IVF?

One of my friend told me about a home remedy if she doesn't produce muture eggs she should eat apple muraba twice a day n stop eating boiled or half fry eggs which makes women's eggs immature . Eating apples or apple muraba twice a day does help to produce muture eggs. Rest it up to Allah.

Re: Share Stories of Successful Fertility Treatments!

Is apple sauce same as apple murabba?

Re: Share Stories of Successful Fertility Treatments!

^ no, it is not!

Re: Share Stories of Successful Fertility Treatments!

Just got back from Pak and i was given a wazifa that was tried by a couple that doctors had said had no chance and they had a child. If anyone wants a copy let me know, i will scan it to here.

i haven't tried it yet, bit scared though, that if that also fails then what should i do?

BTW stupidest thing i heard in Pak... at my SIL's mehndi my MIL asked me to be the first to do her shagun, and an aunty said i shouldn't do it and someone who had a son in the first year of marriage should be the first to do it. Was the most pathetic thing i'd ever heard.

Re: Share Stories of Successful Fertility Treatments!

^Ignore the ignorant. Best wishes :hugz:

Re: Share Stories of Successful Fertility Treatments!

KS09.. you shuld have told them it's your son not me.. ok I know I could never say that either but man thats crazy and so stupid. :(

Re: Share Stories of Successful Fertility Treatments!

Naaaa these things don't always affect me, i know my inlaws are sincere with me and that's as far as my care factor goes in Pak

Re: Share Stories of Successful Fertility Treatments!

Can I get a copy of that please?

I hate people and their stupid superstitions/ignorant comments. Its easier to say than actually implement, but just ignore stupid comments like that. No matter what happens in your life, there are always going to be people around to try to put you down.

Re: Share Stories of Successful Fertility Treatments!

:hugz: Ignore these people, so ignorant and parhay likhay jahil. I am praying for you KS09. And yes do scan it and upload it here so that we all can do this wazeefa!

Re: Share Stories of Successful Fertility Treatments!

I have a scanned copy of the wazifa, but image uploader doesn't allow me to upload a pdf. Anyone know how?

Re: Share Stories of Successful Fertility Treatments!

KS09 I'd love a copy of the wazeefa aswell - can you PM it to me? I think there are pdf converters that can convert documents to word files.
