Share Stories of Successful Fertility Treatments!

Re: Share Stories of Successful Fertility Treatments!

When pregnant, I was told by someone to recite 'Ya Raqeebu' as often as possible to avoid the risk of a miscarriage. I recited it as often as possible all through out the day or whenever I could remember. Alhamdollilah, I had no complications, everything went very smoothly. Allah knows best!

Update on our progress:

Tomorrow we're going to a bigger city in Australia for my hubby's biopsy. We live in a village of Australia and it's going to cost us an arm and leg to get there, but we want a child more than anything and willing to pay. If they get any 'swimmers' it will be all worth it.

then it will be my turn to ovulate and all the rest.

Please pray for me that we do get something. It's extremely emotional and my brain is all over the place. My MIL asked me before we knew who had the problem, that if it was me would I allow hubby to get remarried so that the family could continue? I said yes to her, that if it's me i don't want to ruin anyone's dreams. But now that it's not me and i desperatley want children, i kinda feel like taunting her. I know that's wrong and i love my hubby, but i'm kinda at that point where any male who has children is looking attractive to me (which is totally wrong!). I've always heard of men leaving their wife if she's unable to have children but what about the women that can have children but their hubby's can't. There is no support system in our culture. Even though my MIL knows that it's not me, she doesn't stop others when they taunt me and ask me why i don't let my hubby go so that he can have a family. I don't want to tell every tom, dick and harry that my hubby's infertile cos then they'll think he's not a man.

Even my mum doesn't help. she said if it was me the in-laws would've kicked me out a long time ago. This gets me thinking negative that Hubby is ruining my life and my dreams. So now i tend to stay away from my mum so she doesn't feed me this negativity and now i have no support system other than this place.

I'm just having a rant and a debrief. please ignore

Re: Share Stories of Successful Fertility Treatments!

^ Don't let them get to you. Stay focused on your dream of raising a child with YOUR HUBBY. Not any man would be good enough to be the father of your child. :D

Best wishes. InshAllah it will work out for the best.

Who: Us

**How long have TTC and Treatment: **our first child MA was born after 6 long years of ttcing. Went through 3 failed cycles of clomid. 3 cycles of injectibles. Got pregnant twice on it but both pregnancies ended around 8 weeks. Finally went for the IVF. The one and only cycle we did, failed. This was october of 2005. Cried my heart out after th failed cycle and left everything in Allah's hands after that. Conceived naturally in December 05 and the doc said I conceived on my birthday which is dec 3rd. Did not even know I was pregnant until I was 9 weeks. MashaAlla he will be turning 5 in August.Got pregnant again naturally in 2007 and due to doctors negligence had a tubal rupture in which the right tube was completely removed. Allah saved me normally women don't survive. Ya Allah Shukar. Now since I had only one tube. Tried naturally but was not happening. Started seeing an endo and IVF DOCTOR in 2009. Heart was not fully in it but still went for all the bloodwork. Hsg to see if my left tube was open and the condition of it. Everything was normal. Stopped going to the doctor because it was very far and doc trips with a toddler were not fun so just ended it. Conceived my number two naturally in april of 2010 and MA Allah blessed us with a beautiful baby girl.

**Fertility issues: **pcos at one point than later the doc took her diagnoses back. I think loosing weight helped significantly. I had gained weight with all the fertility treatments once I stopped the treatments and started exercising eating healthy low carb diet helps a lot in regulating your cycle as well. Drank lots of decaf green tea.

Results: Alhumdolillah two beautiful healthy children. May Allah keep them healthy and safe. Amen.

Extra efforts: dhikr is very important. I did whatever any one told me. Saying Astaghfar as much as you can is very important. I think truly believing in the fact that Allah knows best and He is the best of planners. Do everything that is in your power but leave the rest in His Hands. IA he will bless you with healthy children when the time is right. I am a living proof! Afshi, you have no idea how much I pray for you, Hinna and everyone else that I know who desperately wants a child. I know in my heart Allah will answer our prayers, IA.

Re: Share Stories of Successful Fertility Treatments!

WHO: Two of my very close friends.

HOW LONG HAVE TTC: Almost 9 years...they got married very early and one of the couples was told they wouldnt be having children at all.

FERTILITY ISSUE: PCOS.

TREATMENT: Lots of blood tests, Clomid and several failed attempts later...one of the couples conceived as a result of the fertility treatments and the other conceived naturally (the girl who thought she would never be a mother).

RESULTS: One baby girl and one baby boy Mashallah. Both healthy and happy.

EXTRA EFFORTS: A lot of prayer from all sides and I know they prayed a lot as well.

KS09.. keep the negativity out just like you are and dont stress about the hows, ifs, and buts.. your husband would have never left you no matter what your MIL would have thought or said so take comfort in that and stay positive.. inshaAllah it will happen in due time.

Re: Share Stories of Successful Fertility Treatments!

**UPDATE!!!!

**So we got back from the big city this morning at 2:30am and back at work at 8am! Craazy.
Anyways.. the testicular biopsy was succesful in that they found some sperm, but he has a blockage in some tube that is irreversable. They took some tissue out and found cells that are not fully mature, and there wasn't enough to freeze, but at least we have some hope. After 3 months the doc said to come back and he will do whatever i need to do to ovulate and get some eggs from me. And then they'll make the pregnancies in the lab and transfer them to me! So inshaAllah things are looking good at the moment. Hubby is on strict vegetarian diet.. doc said it helps a lot. Apparently too much meat makes too much testosterone which can be damaging to sperm cells, and he's taking menevit now too, kinda like elevit but for men. And we're reading and praying more than anything now.

If you know of any couples in this situation let them know there is hope out there
