Re: Shaping The Eyebrows
I shape my eyebrows and because I don’t follow those scholars who are completely against it but I agree with those scholars who allow shaping and tidying it, that’s why I think I’m not doing any gunnah inshaAllah.
Some sisters are arguing by saying " there is a hadith against it "…I’m sure they haven’t checked the arabic version of the hadith nor they have considered reading its explanation by different scholars. There is a difference between plucking(nams) and shaping or trimming the eyebrows.
I really don’t like when muslims come up to prove their point with " one hadith " without any reasearch and studies.
BINGO…thank you.
People need to stop taking Hadiths out of context.
Ask a fuqahaa, and you’ll have ur answer.
From what I know of one, you can do it to please your husband/ at time of rishta (or if you’ve reached the age of marriage). Majority of the Ullema agree to this.
However I can also understand why there is a limitation on beautifying yourself. Some girls go way over board, and you know what i’m talking about .
Its better they not do it at all, or limit themselves into doing it according to Shariah, rather than displeasing Allah swt.
yep…going way over board would be considered going beyond the natural brow line. Shaping beyond the natural brow line according to my research and knowledge is wrong…nothing wrong with keeping it clean and tidy.
**EMM **i couldnt agree more :k:
